Chapter Three

The next morning Andrea awoke to Jc's loving kisses. He surprised her with breakfast in bed. He had cooked pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage for her. Andrea smiled knowing he truly did love her. It was moments like this that would make Justin fade out of her mind even faster. Andrea let Jc eat with her and they talked about everything in the world there was to talk about.

"Guess what baby?" Jc asked gently as he kissed her hands.

"What?" Andrea asked. The tray he brought the food on was now cleared and he was lying in between her legs with his chin resting on her thigh.

"Next month on the 11th is our 9 month anniversary," Jc said warmly, "I'm going to plan something very special."

Andrea grinned, "I'm excited already. But now what are we going to do today? Are you sure you can miss work?"

Jc nodded, "We were supposed to record some things today. Justin and I were going to mess around and try to come up with some new stuff in the studio, but I already called and canceled."

A chill ran down Andrea's spine when Justin was mentioned, "Was he mad?"

Jc smiled, "Not the happiest guy in the world, but I told him I had to spend time with my babygirl today."

Andrea loved when he called her that. Something about the way he flowed off his lips was amazing. She pushed her fingers through his hair lovingly, "I love you Jace."

He nodded, "I love to hear you say that. But I love you too." He looked up at her with serious blue eyes, "last night I thought I lost you for a little while here."

"Did it scare you?" Andrea teased.

Jc remained serious, "I don't know what I would have done without you."

Andrea wondered what Jc would do if she ever left him for Justin. The thought hadn't crossed her mind, and she knew she would never do it. But what would he do? What would it be like to be Justin's girl? Andrea imagined Justin pampered his women and treated them like queens. Jc did every now and then, and he had more at the beginning of their relationship. But now he was becoming accustomed to her and didn't feel he had to try as hard. It hurt Andrea to think he might become sick of her. But right then Justin was pretty much miles away from her mind because Jc was a new man and Andrea thought there was a chance things might just go back to normal.

Jc sat up, "So what should we do? Should I take my lady shopping and out to dinner?"

Andrea giggled, "I don't know if you could afford it."

Andrea made a very nice amount of money with her job as a model. She currently was on a hiatus because she had worked way too much in the past seven years. Even though Andrea was quite fortunate and wealthy herself, it didn't stop Jc from spoiling her constantly. She loved shopping with him because he would always buy her everything. Even if she was hesitant on an outfit, he would get it. And it wasn't out of his character to surprise her with a dress he had picked out and wanted her to wear. He was a surprisingly good shopper and Andrea suspected it was from working years with a fashion consultant.

Jc laughed, "I think I can manage one shopping spree."

Andrea shrugged, "Suit yourself loverboy. I'm actually in need of some lingerer. That could be quite an expensive trip to Victoria's Secret for you. I ordered some Italian stuff offline with my money, but-"

Jc grunted, "Say no more, I love to buy you sexy underwear. Of course, you will be giving me a fashion show."

Andrea smiled back at him and stood up, "Let me take a shower and get dressed and we'll go out."

Andrea stepped out of the warm shower and wrapped her body in a white cotton towel. The cool cotton felt good against her skin. Her hair was wet and in small waves at her shoulders. Andrea looked at herself in the mirror once the towel was secure. Jc appeared behind her. Jc stepped against her back and pressed himself into her. His arms guided themselves smoothly over her own. He ran his fingertips over her still wet skin. Then he began to kiss her neck. Andrea watched all this in the mirror numbly. She watched as the man she was supposed to love touched and caressed her. He wanted her and it was clear in his cobalt eyes. But she didn't want him. Being with Justin had spoiled the rest of her life with Jc.

"What's wrong babygirl, you don't want me to touch you?" Jc purred against her neck.

"We need to go shopping," Andrea said quietly.

Jc snickered, "Shopping can wait. I want to make love to you right here on the marble countertop."

Andrea smiled at how horny he was and he didn't bother to hide it. "Maybe I don't want to do it right here on the countertop."

Jc continued to kiss her neck, "You don't, eh?"

Andrea nodded weakly. His kisses became more persistent and they were starting to get the better of her. She closed her eyes and let out a soft moan.

"Sounds to me like you want to," Jc said.

And that was the last thing either said. He made love to her right there on the countertop. Andrea hadn't really wanted to, but then again it had been consensual. It just made her realize how much of the decision making was done by Jc. It was always where he wanted to, when he wanted to. He never really pampered to her needs. But she couldn't really complain because he was taking her on a shopping spree that would result in spending thousands of his dollars.

Andrea dressed casually after their morning romp in white pants that hugged her figure tightly and a black shirt that had three-quarter length sleeves and tied in front. She looked stylish and cute. Jc dressed himself in black pants and a tight fitting red shirt that was long sleeved and had a v-neck. His shaggy hair looked very sexy and Andrea smiled at what a cute couple they made. She liked to be seen in public with Jc because everyone stared at the two beautiful people completely in love.

Throughout the day they visited Gucci, Prada, and Ralph Lauren. Andrea bought tons of cute clothes and Jc even got some things as well. They had talked about books, TV shows, movies, everything in the world they used to talk about. They actually had great conversation and Andrea was relieved she was feeling all her tender feelings for Jc again. It was as if everything were going to be okay after all. But at lunch he dropped some news that Andrea couldn't handle.

Andrea munched on her Caesar salad, "What kind of news?"

"Just news, nothing bad," Jc smiled at her.

Andrea gulped, "Okay, shoot."

Jc took a bite of his chicken, "Well, next week I have to go out of town for awhile. I'll be gone all week because I have tons of business to take care of. I have some appearances and some production work I need to do. It would be nothing fun and I wouldn't have any time to take you out to dinner or anything. And I know how you hate that stuff so I figured I'd leave you here in New York."

Andrea felt her heart sink, "Where will you be gone for a week in?"

"L.A.," Jc said sadly. He knew she would be upset because he would be on the coast across the country. That was thousands of miles.

Andrea frowned, "I love L.A. Let me go with you. I'll shop and visit my friends there and entertain myself, I promise."

Jc shook his head, "If it were up to me I'd take you there babe, but I can't. Johnny doesn't want me to bring you."

Now she was insulted, "And why not?"

Jc smirked, "Because he says I get too distracted and he wants me completely focused."

Andrea sat back stiffly in her chair, "So I'm going to be in that big penthouse all alone for a week?" Andrea sipped her water nervously, "Jace, shouldn't I just stay with some friends?"

"Well, you won't exactly be alone babe," Jc said and took a sip of his Dr. Pepper, "I'm going to have one of the guys stay with you."

"Who?" Andrea asked her heart beginning to pound in her chest. She begged he wouldn't say Justin. If Justin was staying with her she didn't know what she would do. A week without Jc could mean a lot of trouble.

"Well it looks like Chris right now. He has to do some promotional stuff in New York for Fuman," Jc bit his straw, "But I'm not sure exactly."

Andrea felt an instant relief, "That's cool. I love hanging out with Chris. I can take him out on the town."

Jc smiled, "That's my girl. Thanks for being such a trouper about this. I was really angry when Johnny told me. But he said if I do this week I can have two off. I was thinking you and I could cruise somewhere tropical. Wouldn't that be nice? A tropical vacation for a week? And then maybe home for a week?"

Andrea forced a smile, "I guess so."

"Are you really disappointed I'm leaving?" Jc asked with a smile.

Andrea nodded, "Yeah, I am. We never see each other anymore."

Jc grabbed her hands from across the table and kissed them, "Don't worry babe. I will be back before you know it and we still have four days together before I leave."

Four days here, four days there, that's all our relationship is anymore She thought bitterly. All it is, is a series of days in between long stretches of never seeing each other.
