Chapter 14
At hearing me say those two words, all five men stood infront of me, protecting me from my father. "Cant I say hello to my own daughter?"
"I dont think she wants to say hello to you," JC said.
"JC!" I cried as he was grabbed by his shirtfront.
"If I want to talk to my daughter, Ill talk to my daughter. Do you understand?" He looked at me and chills ran down my spine. "Lets go, sweetie," he said nodding towards the front door.
"No!" I said.
He looked at me. "Did you say no to me!?!"
"Yes she did," JC said.
"You just keep your big mouth shut!" he said, raising his fist.
He was about to bring it down on him when I cried, "Daddy, dont!"
My father looked at me, then at JC. "You care for him, dont you?" I opened my mouth to say something, then looked down at the ground. He laughed. "Alyssa, Ill make you a deal."
"I dont make deals with the Devil," I said. He put his arm around JCs neck. "Stop it!" I began to rush after him, but Justin and Lance grabbed my arms.
"Ill tell you what," he said. "Ill let your boyfriend here go if youll come with me. If not, Ill just kill him here and now."
"Hes lying," Lance whispered in my ear. "Hes just trying to get to you!"
I looked at my fathers face, then at JCs. JC's face was going red, but he looked at me as if to tell me to say no. I looked back at my father. "Alright," I sighed.
"No!" The members of Nsync cried.
My father smiled and released JC. He came over to me and grabbed my shoulders. "Dont go with him!" JC pleaded.
I hugged him. "Call the cops," I whispered. "Have them meet us at the park by Home Town Buffet." He looked at me questioningly.
"Come on!" my dad exclaimed, pulling me out the door.
"No!" I heard Chris, Joey, Lance, and Justin cry.
