Chapter 4: The Aftermath
"Oh, God, I hope I didn't lose any organs in there."
JC sat on the bathroom floor. He was a shell of a man. He felt sick, weak, and frail. He barely had enough strength to flush the toilet to rid it of the contents of his stomach. He hadn't gotten much sleep last night since the
alcohol had finally kicked in once they arrived back at the hotel. He
couldn't remember the nights events, but he was sure he had made a complete
ass of himself. He slowly got to his feet, holding onto the sink and looked at
his reflection in the mirror above it. He was pale. At that moment he vowed
to never touch another drop of liquor again.
It's safe to say that he was running on an empty stomach, but after his little day date with the toilet, he felt better...somewhat.
He turned on the water in the sink and cupped his hands in the sink, scooping
up a handful of the clear liquid. He rinsed his face a bit, hoping to return
a bit of color to his cheeks. He then began to brush his teeth, ridding
himself of the after-taste of his stomach fluids.
Moments later, he walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. He slowly climbed into bed and slipped in under the covers.
~*~*~*~*~*~
JC was awakened from his slumber by a knock on the door. "Come in," he said
sleepily.
Justin slowly opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind him. "Hey."
JC sat up at the sound of Justin's voice, but he remained beneath the blanket. "Hey, J, what's up?"
"I wanted to talk to you. About what you told me last night. Did I wake you because I can talk to you later, if you'd like." Justin was nervous.
Homosexuality wasn't one of his usual topics, but it was one that struck his
curiosity. He had so many questions and he hoped that JC could give him
answers.
"No, it's okay. What did you want to know?" JC pat the space next to him on
the bed, motioning for Justin to have a seat.
Justin walked over to the bed and climbed onto it, sitting Indian-style
beside JC. "I just wanted to ask you a few questions."
"Okay, shoot."
"Well, when did you know that you were...that you were..."
"Gay?"
"Yeah."
JC shrugged his shoulders. "It kinda hit me, I guess. I really was more
attracted to guys than I was to girls. I can't even remember the last girl I was attracted to. Well eventually I came to terms with it. Hence, I'm gay."
"Sounds simple enough." Justin was intrigued by what JC had to say. In his
opinion, homosexuality was an odd concept. Being born in Tennessee, he wasn't
exposed to any gay people. If he were, he wouldn't have known. "Have you ever
fucked a guy?"
JC had to laugh at Justin's bluntness. "No, I haven't."
"Oh..."
"When the time comes, I'll let you know what it's like."
Justin chuckled. "Ok, deal."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah..."
"Wouldn't you be a bit weirded out?"
"Probably, but we'll see when the time comes."
"I guess so."
A brief silence fell upon the two, but Justin was quick to end it. "So,
have you kissed a guy before?"
"Yes, I have."
"What's it like?"
JC smiled. Justin looked so cute at that moment. His deep blue eyes were bright with an overwhelming curiosity. To JC, it was just incredibly cute. "It's just like kissing a girl, only no boobs and more facial hair in some cases."
"Seriously? It's like kissing a girl?"
"Basically, but I can't really describe it, You'll just have to do it and see for yourself."
JC watched Justin, and could tell that he was thinking.
"Show me," Justin said.
"Show you what?"
"What it's like to kiss a guy."
"You're joking."
"No, I'm not. I want to know what it's like."
"Justin, are you telling me that you want me to kiss you?"
"Yeah, why not? I'm perfectly in tuned with my sexuality. I'm just curious."
"Fine, I'll do it, but only to satisfy your inquisitive mind." The opportunity seemed too good to be true. JC had wanted to kiss Justin for so long, and now, Justin was ready and willing.
"Ok, I'm ready."
"Ok." JC slowly leaned in; his lips drawing nearer to Justin's. He gently
pressed his lips to Justin's and closed his eyes. He was determined to show
Justin all the passion he could muster in that one kiss. He was glad the
Justin didn't hesitate. If he didn't know better, he'd say that Justin was enjoying the kiss as much as he was.
Justin was completely lost in the kiss. What started off as simple and sweet,
turned into something hot and passionate. He was enjoying this too much. He
brought a hand up to JC's cheek, tracing the masculine featured of his face
with his thumb. With that, realization hit, and Justin slowly withdrew from
the kiss. He had gotten all the answers that he wanted, but those answers
only led to more questions. He briefly touched his now swollen lips with his
fingertips. "Well, that was interesting to say the least."
"Yeah, it was ok."
Justin raised a brow. "Just ok?"
"Yes, just ok."
Justin gave a mock pout. "Well, I'll be the bigger man and say that I kinda
liked it. I wouldn't make a habit out of it, but it was good to try something
different."
"You would be the one to analyze the kiss."
"Shut up, Jace."
JC laughed. Who was he to point out Justin analyzing the kiss, when in his mind, he was doing the same thing. Whether they wanted to admit it or not,
this changed everything. JC just hoped that it'd be for the better.
