Joey stood in the door way of Kaycee's apartment, he was looking out for Chris who was coming over to be fixed up with a friend of Kaycee's. Chris has been stewing over his broken heart for too long, and Joey met Renee and knew she would be perfect for Chris. Kaycee introduced Joey to Renee, and he could not think of that moment without letting a smile pass his lips.

"Hey, I am Joey" he said shaking her hand.

"Hey Joe. I am Trouble. No wait I am Renee. Trouble is just the middle name"

Kaycee rolled her eyes and shook her head "Ren.. behave"

They sat down at Kaycee's apartment that night, and much to Kaycee's chagrin Renee told Joey every story that she could think of. She told him about the time the two of them went out and two Marines proceeded to follow them to every night spot they went to. Joey listened with interest as Renee told how, Kaycee got so irritated she was ready to scream and finally Renee pulled one of them aside and told them if they were going to follow them they needed to find the anatomy marines were known to have and at least introduce themselves. Joey laughed so hard he could barely breathe, at that moment he decided "She's perfect for Chris."

"Perfect for Chris?" Kaycee asked stunned after Renee had went home

"Yea. Chris has that same Ringling Brothers personality" He said laughing

Kaycee giggled and relented. "Yea you are right. They do!"

"Yea I know! and he calls me Tickle me Elmo!" Joey said laughing.

"Baby.. you are Tickle Me Elmo" she said tickling him as he squirmed and giggled.

When they finally settled down they agreed, they would hook up Chris with Renee, and that is where Joey was today. He looked out the door again, he had told Chris not to be late, he wanted him here before Renee got there. As he walked away to go sit down after Kaycee finally said to him "Joey. .a watched pot never boils" there was a knock at the door.

"Bout time you get here Chris" Joey said opening the door to Renee.

"Um Sorry Joe.. not Chris" Renee said to him giggling.

"Where is that man?" He asked clearly getting irritated. Chris was usually pretty good about showing up on time, but today was obviously NOT one of the those days.

Renee laughed and reached her hand out pulling Chris by the sleeve.

"This what your looking for?" she asked between giggles.

"Thank you for listening to me Chris" Joey said slugging him in the arm.

"OUCH! abuse me why don't you! You saw that he hit me!" He said turning towards Renee with a happy smile.

"Poor baby" she said rubbing his arm where Joey had slugged him.

Joey raised an eyebrow at Chris as they walked in the door. He could tell these two had been talking for a few minutes, Chris was at ease with her and he could tell from the look in Renee's eyes she definitely liked Chris.

The evening went smoothly, Chris and Renee were talking and laughing, Joey walked up behind Kaycee as she was checking the dinner. "Smells Good Bella" He said kissing her neck

"What me? or the dinner?" she replied with a giggle.

"Mmmmm both." he replied.

"Joey.. we have guests Love" She said smiling as he nuzzled her into neck.

"Raincheck?" He asked with a wicked tone.

"well they won't stay forever." she said turning to Joey and giving him a kiss that held a promise of things to come.

As he walked back into the living room, he looked at Chris sitting with Renee on the couch, her legs were laying over his and they were both naming things they had in common. So far they realized they had favorite color, their birthdays were only two days apart, and they both could touch their tongues to the end of their noses. Chris held her hand in his and flipped it palm up, he looked at her palm as if he was a palm reader.

"You have a long life line" he said looking and then said "and girl you have this love line, it is wild. It just wraps around!"

Renee smiled at him shaking her hand "What else does it say?"

"It says.....we are compatible" He stated smiling.

"It does?? where??" she asked looking at her hand.

"Right here" he said pulling her gently by the collar of her shirt to him and kissing her lightly on the lips, the kiss was no more then a peck but it was something both of them had been considering doing.

"Yea, yea. You know I think you are right" She said giggling.

Kaycee walked in carrying a lasagna in her hands, looking at the two of them she saw Renee blush. "Dinner is served." she said smiling.

"Yep that means you two have to come to the table and try not to match the red wine, Renee" Joey said laughing.

"JOEY!" Both Chris and Renee said at the same time.

They ate dinner and as the end of the evening came, Chris insisted on taking Renee home.

"Chris I only live a few blocks over I can walk it" She said trying to protest but not very hard.

"No, no you can't I won't hear of it." He said "I'll take you home"

Renee hugged Kaycee and whispered "Thank you" in her ear then she walked by and slugged Joey in the arm "That's for hitting Chris earlier" she stated. Joey laughed and rubbed his arm. He and Chris said their goodbyes and the night was over.

"I think that went well" Kaycee said

"You think it went well? Baby doll, didn't you see her feed him a bite of his lasagna? I would say it went past well" Joey said..

Kaycee laughed. "Were we ever that sick?"

"Fraid so love, afraid so. And ya know what else?"

"Hmmm?"

"We still are" he said pulling her to him and kissing her deeply. He kept kissing her as he walked her over to the couch and gently slid onto it, pulling her onto his lap. She kissed his neck and let her loose hair spill onto his shoulders as she whispered her desires into his ear. She began to unbutton his shirt, and slid it off his body, he had every plan of bringing Kaycee to the couch to seduce her, but now all of a sudden he realized, he was the seducee. Kaycee took her hands and pulled his tshirt off his body, running her hands down his chest. She moved off of Joey much to his protest and reached for the glass that sat on the table, she pulled a piece of ice from the glass and placed it between her teeth, running the ice over his neck and down his chest she moved it over his stomach and soon the ice melted and it was just her cold mouth kissing and nuzzling his tummy and chest. Joey's sighs and movements on the couch told her he was enjoying this and she too enjoyed sending him to this point. Joey reached for the bottom of Kaycee's dress and slid it over her body, he then unsnapped her bra with one hand and it was his turn; she watched as he reached past her and took a piece of ice from the glass in front of them, he took the ice between his teeth and proceeded to return the favor that she had just done, he ran the cube down her entire body sending her body convulsing with sensual shivers.

"Bella" Joey said out loud

"yes love" Kaycee uttered through breathless sighs.'

"Where on earth did you learn that thing.. the thing..."

"What?? what you just did in return.. oh baby thats nothing."

"NOTHING?" Joey asked with wide eyes.

Kaycee gave him a smile, and reached for his hand, she pulled him off the couch and he followed her to the bedroom, the foreplay was over and now it was time to show Joey more of her tricks. Joeys mind was in over drive, he knew Kaycee was sensual but where this came from he had no idea, but he intended on holding on and not letting her go.

After they made love, he pulled her close into his arms. Holding and kissing her, uttering sweet love words to her. "Bella... Oh Bella." Joey said still breathless.

"Joey.. you act as if you have never been seduced before" She said.

"Oh I have, but never like that, and oh Bella.."

Kaycee smiled. " I love you Joey" She said.

"I love you too Bella... more then words" And that was the last words she heard before she slipped into a fitful sleep, wrapped up in Joey's arms and loving every second of it.

JC had his arms around Hayley's waist, they were saying goodbye and she was heading home. "I am going to miss you" He said

"I'll miss you too" she said "Make Joey take care of Kaycee ok?"

"Trust me baby doll, he does"

She smiled JC was right, he always took care of her. They were two peas in a pod. As they said their goodbyes, the final boarding call was announced.

"Call me as soon as you are home" JC said as their foreheads touched.

Hayley walked to the plane, turning one last time to take him in. She settled into her seat and as with anytime she flew, she closed her eye's. She saw JC in her mind, she already missed him and loved him so. She looked out the window and as always she saw him firmly against the window watching for her plane to take off. As the final instructions were given and the door shut, she watched JC pull away from the window and that was the last she saw.

JC's heart dropped as Hayley flew out of sihgt. He pushed his hands into his jacket pocket and found a folded up piece of paper.

The simple note made him smile. He was lucky. He made his way to the outside of the airport and drove to the hotel, he walked in the room and noticed how empty it was. He went and turned on the shower and got ready to head out to their appearance. He heard the pphone ring in the room but ignored it, he was already late and didn't want to answer the phone.

"DAMMIT!" Joey screamed

He and Kaycee had been watching TV when they heard.

"Flight 3411 headed from JFK in New York to LAX in Los Angeles has disappeared from radar's. It had a full load of 200 passengers and 8 members of the crew. We will pass on information as it is received" The newscaster said.

Kaycee fell into Joey's arms. "NO Joey NO! IT can't be!!"

Joey on impulse reached for his phone to call JC, still no answer. He grabbed Kaycee's hand "Come on Love, let's go. He is going to need us"

They made itto the hotel in record time, and Joey pounded down the door.

"JC!! open up . God JC please!!" Joey said banging on the door.

JC flew the door open "What?? I know I am late!"

"JC. are you watching tv?" Kaycee asked quietly, the tears in her eyes evident.

"No, its off. What? Please. what? Just tell me" He said.

They walked in the room, Joey put his arm around JC and slowly started.

"Josh.. what is Hayley's plane number?"

"Why??" JC asked the terror becoming evident in his eyes.

"Sweetie....."Kaycee started her eyes welling with tears "There was a flight that left JFK...it had engine problems"

"NO!! NO!! Jesus.. Please NO!" JC shouted, he ran to the TV and flipped it on, his eyes welling with tears.

"JC.. We don't know what happened yet they said it disappeared from radar" Joey told him.

JC slid onto the couch his body was shaking and his eyes were full of hurt and tears. He had to find out what was going on, he reached for his phone and dialed her number, on the first ring her cell phone picked up.

"This is Hayley, leave me a message and I'll get back to you"

JC shut his phone, and looked at Joey and then at Kaycee, finally the news came across with an announcement.

"We have more information on that flight that left JFK a short while ago. Apparently they had technical problems that caused them to pop off the
radar"

JC eyes grew wide praying for an answer, "Please God"

"We are happy to report that the plane landed safely in Pennsylvania"

JC whooped out loud, his heart had jumped into his throat, Kaycee wrapped him up in a hug and they cried together. "She's ok" he said. "She's ok!"

Joey ran down the hallway and grabbed Mike "Mike call Melinda cancel everything we are going to Pennsylvania"

"DO what?" Mike asked

"JC's girlfriend was in an emergency landing Mike, you can either come with us or get the hell out of the way, but that boy is going to Hayley, you can bet on it"

"Damn straight!" JC yelled.

"Alright guys. fine.. lets go then" Mike said. "Where to??"

"Um. Good question. We should probably get some information" JC said

"Yea good idea." Mike responded

They went back in the room and he popped open his laptop, he went straight to the newswires and got his info, and got directions from Mapquest. As he was getting everything all set up, his phone rang.

"Hello?" He said.

"Baby.." was all she said he could hear she was crying

"Oh love.. oh my sweet Hayl.. are you ok?"

"I am now, it was awful baby. I don't want to fly. I don't want to get on the plane" she said he could hear in her voice the tears.

"I am on the way to you baby. I am on the way. Just stay where you are. Get Max and stay. I will be there soon. I love you Hayley. More then words can say"

"I love you too JC, please hurry." She said tears rolling down her cheeks.

JC looked at the people in his room, they wanted an answer "She's fine, shook up but fine, we have to get to her"

They headed out to the car and less then three hours later, JC walked into the airport and found her, he opened his arms and she ran into them, holding him as if she was afraid to step away from him. "Shh baby, its ok. I am here"

"Oh God JC. Don't let me go, please don't let me go" she said sobbing.

Kaycee walked over to them and placed her arms around them hugging them to her. "Oh Hayley don't do that to me again. EVER" she said.

Hayley pulled from JC and looked at her friend gently squeezing her, she knew right then, she was ok.

JC went over to Max and hugged him kissing him on the head and taking his leash. He leaned down and said something to the dog "Are you ok boy?" He rubbed his head and stood up.

Joey walked over and kissed Hayley on the side of the head. "you had us worried girl, don't do that again"

Hayley smiled and they all headed out, her boyfriend suppporting her as she walked out, her body unsure of each move she took, but her heart knowing she was were she belonged.
