JC awoke to find Hayley laying in his arms, he looked down and smiled. This was perfect, he squeezed her gently and she looked at him sleepily, he kissed the top of her head.

"MMMMMMM don't let this be a dream baby" she said.

"If its a dream sweetheart, I am there with you"

Hayley smiled at him "Oh in that case, its perfect".

"What do you want to do today baby?" JC asked

"Anything. Everything." She said giggling.

"How about i take you out on a real date?"

"I thought last night was a real date?"

"No, last night was a concert, I want to take you out for the day just you and me. Come on what do you say?"

"Mmmmmm anything you want sweetheart"

JC scrunched down close to her, and kissed her lovingly.

He held on to her and ran his fingers through her hair. "Have I told you that I love you?"

"Not yet this morning" she replied.

"I love you Hayley" JC replied smiling at her.

"I love you too Joshua"

JC smiled, she hadn't called him that out loud before, he liked the way it sounded. He covered her mouth with his, as she traced lazy circles over his back. Accepting the invitation, the two of them spent most of the morning making love. When they finally got out of bed, it was to get dressed.

"Sweetheart, where are we going?" She asked

"I am not telling love, just put on something comfy" He said.

"Give me a hint or I am wearing the Garth shirt" she teased.

"fine baby. . Its someplace you won't want to wear a Garth shirt"

"ARGH! you are a pistol JC" She said laughing.

There was a knock at the door and Hayley went to  open it,  it was Mike who was carrying JC's duffle bag. He had called and asked him to grab a few things for him, and Mike obliged. "Thanks Mike" JC shouted from the bed.

Mike looked at Hayley and said "tell him he owes me ok?"

Hayley laughed and shut the door after shaking her head yes.

"Baby.. Mike says you owe him one"

JC snickered "I owe him alot more then one, but its all good"

Hayley went to go get dressed, she threw on a sundress and pulled her hair up in a ponytail. When she came out of the bathroom, JC looked at her and could barely contain himself. "Damn baby. You look awesome!"

Hayley gave him a sly "what this old thing?" look but even she knew this dress flattered her and going out with JC was going to be an adventure. When JC finally emerged from the bathroom, she taunted him about taking more time to get ready to leave then most women she knew.

"Are you done?" he asked laughing

"yea i guess so" she said.

"then shall we?" he asked and offered his arm.

"Anytime, Anywhere babe, lets go"

JC looped his arm through Hayleys and covered her waist with his hand. He walked downstairs and steered her to the parking lot .

"Where are we going?"

"To get the car sweetheart" JC said.

"You still won't tell me??" Hayley asked

"Nope, soon baby but not yet." JC loved surprises.

They must have driven for well over an hour, Hayley asking for hints and JC telling her to be patient, she would see. She was ready to kill him when he finally put his blinker on and turned down a dirt road, he drove up the road to a small parking lot and parked the car. He stepped out and shook someone's hand, smiling at Kaycee before coming to the car and helping her out.

"Come on Beautiful lets go"

"Not till you tell me where we are going" Hayley said with pretend annoyance.

JC smiled and took her hand "You don't like surprises do you?"

"Nope. I like knowing" hayley said matter of factly.

"well step out of the car, take my hand, and I will show you ok?"

Hayley smiled and turned to get out of the car "Ok Mr Chasez..I am all yours"

JC gave her a quick peck of a kiss and said to her "I like the sound of that"

JC offered his hand, and she placed her's in his. He led her down a short path to a secluded area, as they rounded the corner Hayley saw a small boat, on a secluded lake. She stopped in her tracks and looked at JC. "This is gorgeous" she said.

"Yea and the lake is nice too" he replied.

JC helped her into the boat and they began to paddle around the water, Hayley was just staring at the muscles in JC's arm as he stroked the oar in and out of the water. He stopped the boat in the middle of the lake, he moved closer to Hayley and looked at her. "Good surprise?

"Yes, very nice" Hayley said but showed a little disappointment JC could not contain his smile, little did Hayley know this was just the start, he had much more planned "I brought you out here Hayley so we could talk, get to know each other a little more"

Hayley smiled at JC "Very nice. What would you like to know?"

"Everything Hayley. Whats your favorite movie?"

"Hmm." she thought about it and laughed as she answered "You've got mail"

"Now that is ironic" JC said giggling himself.

"And what is your favorite movie?"

"Star Wars. any of em.. Princess Leia is a babe!" JC responded

Hayley laughed. The two of them talked about everything from zodiac signs to favorite colors from family to favorite meals. They talked and floated around the lake, JC just killing time until they would get to their final destination. About two hours in to their boat ride a loud thunder clap came in, and within seconds it was pouring. "Miserable Florida weather!" JC shouted as he paddled to land quickly. They reached their destination and jumped out of the boat, already soaked they didn't even notice things were only getting worse!!

JC grabbed Hayleys hand and brought her to a door to a cabin, he took a key out of his pocket and openned the door. The door swung open and Hayley saw a room set aglow with candles, a bottle of wine chilling. JC said behind her "Surprise Baby doll"

Hayley swung around on her feet "Wow. the boat was nice, but wow"

"Yea the rain kind of accelerated my plans, but you get the idea"

"I should say so!" Hayley said shivering from the wet clothes.

"Hayley you are freezing! We have to get you dried off!!"

Hayley shook her head and followed JC, he went over to the bathroom door and grabbed a fluffy towel off the back of the door and a robe.

Hayley stepped out of her sundress and she accepted the towel, drying herself off. she wrapped up in the robe, JC held open for her and he kissed her lightly on the neck.

"You thought of this?? All of this?"

"Guilty. You didnt' think I was gonna do the rowboat only did you?"

"wellllll you are a guy"

"OUCH!" JC said with mock pain.

Hayley laughed and threw JC the fluffy towel, she looked behind the door and found another robe. JC dried off and threw the robe on, the two of them settled down in front of the fire, warming up and chatting.

This day as it was, could not have been more perfect.

Joey woke up from his sleep and felt next to him in the bed, he was hoping he would find Kaycee but he didn't He opened his eyes and looked and found her sitting on the balcony of the room. Just looking out without a sound. Joey creeped up behind her. Placing a hand on her shoulders.

"Penny for your thought Bella?"

Kaycee reached up and touched Joey's hand "Happiness love, pure happiness. And aside from the fact that you snore like a dragon, last night was perfect" she said turning to him for a good morning kiss.

"How did I ever sleep without you?" Joey asked her nuzzling against her neck

"I was wondering the same thing." Kaycee replied.

Joey wrapped Kaycee up his arms and held her, not a word was exchanged between the two, no words were necessary. Joey's mind was running in over drive, the more he thought of how short their time was going to be, the tighter he head Kaycee and the sadder he became. When Joey pulled away he looked at her and touched her face with his hand. "I want to take you out today Bella."

"Ok.. where to?"

"I think we might go visit a mouse friend of mine. what do you say?"

Kaycee giggled "Disney world?? I have never been there before!!"

Joey scooped her up and kissed her, "first time for everything, lets get dressed"

And with that, Kaycee went and grabbed out a pair of shorts and a tshirt for the day, she laughed as she tried to run into the shower and get ready without Joey seeing her shirt. Joey ran interference and tried to see her shirt, but Kaycee ran into the bathroom and shut the door quick.

"That wasn't nice Kaycee... I would have scrubbed your back"

Kaycee giggled "And seen my surprise. JUST wait Joey!!"

Joey sat down on the bed all the time watching the door, waiting for Kaycee to emerge. When the door openned he looked at her shirt and laughed. She was wearing a shirt that had the superman logo on it. He could look at it and tell it was NOT one of his and he laughed "cute shirt bella"

Kaycee smiled and went over and kissed Joey, " Go take your shower Joey"

Joey hopped off the bed and headed for the door, stopping briefly by his bag and taking out a different shirt of his own. Kaycee smiled at him and went to go do her hair and make up. When Joey finally emerged he was ready to head out, he in his superman shirt and shorts and Kaycee dressed the same. He made a fast phone call to Mike to ask for him to go to Disney with them that day to run "interference" as necessary.

"Cute shirts guys" Mike said with a laugh.

"Thanks" they said together and looped arms.

Joey and Kaycee headed over to Disney and with each sign they passed signifing they were closer, Kaycee's eyes lit up a little more. Her excitement evident on her face could only make Joey smile. Mike dropped them near the gate and told Joey to stand by the VIP enterance to the Magic Kingdom and wait with her. While they were waiting a young girl walked over to them.

"Mister? My sister over there said you are in Nsync, are you?"

Joey bent down and looked at her and shook his head holding his finger to his mouth as if to tell her it was a secret. Kaycee smiled and watched Joey pull a sharpie from his pocket,  he asked the little girl for her name and signed her autograph book she held. he wrote:

"To Heather... Thanks for saying hi.. Joey"

He gave the little girl her book back and gave her a kiss on her cheek, the little girl scooted over to her sister who stood there wtih her mouth to the ground. She showed her what Joey had written to her smiling ear to ear. She looked at Joey who wiggled his finger for her to come over.

She walked over and Joey gave her a hug and told her to take care of his new friend. He took his sharpie and signed something for her too.

"To Amy. Don't be afraid I don't bite. Joey"

Amy smiled and headed back over to Heather, both of them agreeing not to tell everyone they saw that Joey was there with his new girlfriend. Kaycee could not beleive how sweet Joey was to the two girls. She leaned up and gave Joey a kiss, he smiled at her and held her close. By the time Mike arrived they were both antsy. Mike went and spoke to someone and the two of them followed him in. Joey pulled Kaycee into a near by hat shop to grab a hat. Joey grabbed two sets of mouse ears and brought them to the lady emrboidering and asked for Bella and Beau to be put on them.

"Joey mouse ears are not gonna hide who you are"

"I know, but everyone needs mouse ears"

Kaycee laughed, they were handed their ears and put them on. Joey smiled at kaycee, and grabbed her hand, "ready to go?" Joey took her all over the park, they rode every ride some of them twice. He would pull her into a dark area periodically and kiss her. She could not believe how perfect this day was. Only a handful of people had approached them, and everyone of them was told "This is my girlfriend" Some people even asked her for her autograph, she could not believe it! Joey showed her everything there was to see in the Magic Kingdom, and then asked her "Ok baby doll, Epcot or MGM or Animal Kingdom?"

"This is your tour Joey, you tell me"

"hmmm MGM??"

"Thats fine sweetheart" And with that, they were off. Mike chasing behind them wondering why he was forced to come along if Joey wasn't going to let him lead the way. As they approached MGM, Joey took her to all his favorite places including "The Great movie ride" but then took her over to Tower of Terror.

"NO Joey" Kaycee said looking up.

"Please Bella, I'll hold you close"

"Not gonna happen"

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeasseee" he said again only this time with puppy dog eyes.

Kaycee looked at him and gave in "Alright, but I am a bit nervous about this"

"You'll be fine Bella, you have me to hold on to"

Kaycee smiled and followed Joey, they got on the ride and as they were dropping, she clung to Joeys arm. Her head dipped onto it, to hide her face. Joey pulled her face to his and kissed her as they fell. The ride ended and Kaycee's head was spinning. Joey helped her off the ride, and locked his arm through her's. They wandered all over, seeing everything they could. Dragging poor Mike all over, and having the time of their life. By days end, Kaycee had seen everything she could see at Disneyworld and was exhausted. Joey took her in his arms as they walked to the car, this day was perfect. Kaycee looked at Joey and sleepily said.

"Who knew.. that really is the happiest place on earth"

Joey smiled and shook his head in agreement "It is now"

After a wonderful weekend and finding out that it was possible for love to happen when you weren't paying attention, Sunday came too fast for both couples. Hayley sat in the living area of the room, her legs drawn to her chest and tears falling down her cheeks, she could not believe that she had to say goodbye. JC walked over to her and placed his hands on top of her's.

"Hayley love, this isn't goodbye" JC said to her quietly.

Hayley looked up at JC, through her tear stained eyes, she tried to speak but nothing could come out. JC pulled her into his arms and held onto her "Baby I swear to you, this is not over. I love you"

Hayley managed to stifle out a sad "I love you too"

JC prayed in his mind that the time they were apart would be brief, that in no time he would find his way to Hayley or she would find her way to him. He just knew for the first time in a long time, his heart was in the right place. He lifted her face to his and kissed her lightly on the lips. He could feel her sobbing in his arms and it was breaking his heart, he held onto her for as long as she wanted, he didn't want to let go yet, and at the same point he knew he couldn't. When Hayley finally stopped crying JC kissed the top of her head, quietly he told her they needed to start getting ready. Hayley shook her head and went to go pack things from the bathroom. While she wasgone JC stuck a note he had written her into her carryon bag, hoping she would not find it until she was on her flight. Hayley called out to JC, and he went in to the room, he helped her finish packing with about an hour to spare, they sat down on the bed and cuddled waiting for the knockto come telling them it was time to go.

One room down the mood was somber, Joey had already told Kaycee he would see her in a few weeks in New York, but to both of them it was of little consolilation, they both knew their time together was getting briefer by the minute. Joey sat on the bed watching Kaycee pack things, there was so much more that he needed to say, but for once in his life he was speechless. Kaycee picked up her shirt that he had made for her, and held it close to her. Joey looked at her and realized at that moment, this wasn't just hitting him hard, it was hitting her hard too. He walked over to her and pulled her into his arms. Kaycee pulled away from him and looked him in the eyes.

"I am going to miss you" Kaycee croked out

"I will miss you too" Joey said "but I will see you soon, in just a couple of weeks ok?"

"Yea, but I don't want to leave you now. This weekend has been.."

"amazing" Joey finished.

"Yes, and just when I don't want it to end, it is" Kaycee turned her head away from Joey, she didn't want him to see her cry.

Joey turned her head back to his. "Bella please don't cry, I love you. we will talk daily, whenever you miss me, call."

Kaycee shock her head "I love you too Joey, so much" They finished packing the room up, and went to sit on the balcony. Joey wrapped his arms around Kaycee and pulled her into his lap.

"Promise me something?" he whispered into her hair.

"Anything" she said the goosebumps rising on her neck.

"Promise me that no matter what is sad, no matter what you hear you will talk to me before you believe it ok?"

"I promise Joey. Promise me something?" she asked

"what baby?"

"Promise me that the next time I see you, I will feel like this again"

"Deal baby. deal." Joey said sealing it with a kiss.

Mike knocked on the door, and Joey and Kaycee got up to go. As Kaycee reached for the door handle, Joey turned her around. He planted on her the most sensual kiss she had ever received in her life. Her knees were weak as they pulled apart, "I love you Katherine very much" Kaycee smiled she had not been called Katherine by him yet and it warmed her heart.

She put her hand on his face and he took it to his lips and kissed it. "I love you too" she said. And with that they openned the door and were ready to head to the airport, for what was going to be an all too painful goodbye.

In the car, Mike made a statement about never seeing such sad faces in his entire life. Joey and Kaycee sat holding onto each other, and Hayley kept her face on JC's chest trying to drink in the last of his cologne before leaving him. They arrived at the airport much faster then any of them wanted. JC and Joey helped the women out of the car, and they all headed inside.

At the gate, JC kissed Hayley sweetly before she boarded her flight, his hand gently fingered the J she wore around her neck. The only words exchanged were "I love you" and "I will see you soon" they made a rule that "goodbye" was not to be uttered. As she prepared to board her flight, JC pulled her close. "Sweetheart, there is something in your bag from me.. read it when you want. God I love you"

Hayley looked at JC tears in her eyes and shook her head "I love you too, good..no see you soon" And with that Hayley walked to her flight and JC stood there with his head in hands.

He never thought it could hurt so much to say goodbye.

Hayley slid into her seat, she dug through her bag and pulled the note out. she held it in her hand and decided to go ahead and open it.

Hayley-

Hayley closed the note and held it against herself, she looked out the window and saw JC leaning against the windows of the airport, she wanted to rush off the plane for one last kiss, but as soon as the thought hit her, the doors were closed and she was on her way. "Please God" she prayed "let this seperation be short"

Joey walked Kaycee to her plane, he held her and they shared a last kiss and a last moment. Kaycee could not help but look at JC and see the sadness in his eyes, how she prayed Hayley was doing ok, but she knew Hayley must be in the same shape as herself. Her plane was announced and Kaycee began to head to the gate. "Bella, I don't want you to leave"

Joey said sadly. "Two weeks Joey, two weeks, ok?" she said through her tears.

"Its going to feel like a lifetime" he replied. "Yes baby I know. but soon ok?" And with that Joey pulled her to him, kissing her neck. "I love you Bella more then you can know"

Kaycee looked at him "I love you too Beau"

And she headed on the plane. Her eye's were wet from the tears, and her heart was heavy but she knew this was not it, they would see each other again, she could feel it.

Joey and JC walked numbly out of the airport, not a word was exchanged but a silent nod said it all. It hurt to leave them now, but determination told them it was not over by any stretch of the imagination. 

After a long and grueling flight, Hayley walked back towards her apartment. She went next door and thanked her neighbor for taking care of her dog Max, and then she walked in the door. She glanced through her mail, openning anything that seemed important and leaving the rest for another time. Max could sense she was sad and moved his head under her hand, as if he was trying to comfort her. Hayley plopped on the couch and openned her letter from JC,she had already read it countless times. Sitting in her living room, tears streaming from her eyes. The phone rang and she reached for it, but then decided to let the machine grab it. After four rings she heard "Hi Baby, I miss you and I wanted to tell you.." Hayley jumped and grabbed the phone.

"JC??" She said excitedly.

"Hayley girl... i miss you." JC said, she could hear the tremor in his voice.

"Sweetheart, I miss you too."

JC and Hayley talked about the weekend, about what a wonderful time they had and how horrible it was to have to say goodbye. Hayley's smile slowly returned to her face, she felt truly blessed to have this man in her life. She asked him how Joey was doing, she was stunned to hear that Joey had moved everything from his room down to here Kaycee stayed, and then refused to let housekeeping in to clean the room. When JC knocked on the door, Joey answered and had Kaycee's pillow in his hand. He looked at his friend and just touched his shoulder and walked away. JC was telling Hayley, that Kaycee must have really gotten to Joey. Joey always had women around him, but this time was different.

Hayley shook her head and said "It was different for all of us" JC conceded that was true, even in his last relationship, that woman had the heart of an iceberg, only way it could be touched was with the USS Titanic. The two of them continued to talk for awhile before they said their goodbyes on the phone.

"I'll talk to you later sweetheart ok?" JC said.

"Ok love have a good night" hayley said.

"Ok. Hey Hayley..."

"Yea JC?"

"I love you baby" He said a smile stretching across his face.

"I love you too sweetheart" she said with the same smile.

When they hung up the phone, Hayley pulled the blanket that sat on the couch over her. Exhausted she closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep, hoping she would see JC in her dreams.

Kaycee had been home for a few hours, she had told Joey she was going to have to stop off at her mother's before she went home and that she would call him. She had not call him yet because she didn't know what to say. She was afraid as soon as she openned her mouth she would cry. Kaycee's mother asked her about her weekend,  and when Kaycee told her that she had fallen in love with someone wonderful, her mother began the third degree.

"Is he italian?"

"Yes mother"

"Catholic?"

"Yes Mother"

"A Good man?"

"Yes mother."

"Wants to give me grandbabies??"

"MOTHER! That didn't come up in conversation!!"

"Oh alright, will we meet him Prince Charming?"

"Yes i think so mother, he does travel a lot for his work"

"Yes you mentioned he was with a band, is he one of those BackstreetBoys?"

"NO Mother, he is in Nsync"

"Nsync, Backstreet Boys its all the same"

Kaycee could see this was a losing battle, she kissed her mother on the cheek and headed home. Her mind was running in over drive. What was Joey doing right now? Did he miss her? Was he thinking of her? She finally reached for the phone and dialed the hotel, she asked for Joey's code name and was told he had changed rooms. They rang the room, and Joey answered the phone.

"Hey its Joe"

"Hi Joey, its Kay.."

"Oh Bella!! How was your flight? Are you home safe?" Joey asked her

"I am fine Joey and the flight was ok. Would have been better if you were there" Kaycee said trailing off at the end.

"I miss you Bella, I even moved rooms"

"Aww Joey that is so sweet. I miss you too"

Joey finally said what Kaycee was waiting for "I love you Bella"

"I love you too Joey" She said smiling.

Kaycee sat down on her bed, she told Joey about her conversation with her mother. He laughed at the questions about his being italian and catholic, he could sense there was more so he asked her. "So what else did your mom say?"

"She asked if we were going to give her grandbabies" she said quietly.

Joey grinned ear to ear "well in time I could see that"

Kaycee's mouth hit the floor "Joey....I don't know what to say"

"Kaycee, i didn't say right away, I said someday.  You have been gone from me for a few hours and I am miserable. I can't function, I keep saying it was not goodbye forever and I know that but I miss you Bella"

Kaycee could not believe what Joey had just told her, her mouth was on the ground. He really loved her, more then she ever thought he could. Joey could hear her crying.

"Bella why are you crying?"

"Oh Joey, I miss you and I love you and you love me and I can't believe this, and it is so wonderful" Kaycee stammered.

"Bella don't cry. I do love you very much"

"I love you too Joey"

They sat and talked, he told her how when she left he called his mom, she was amazed at what he had to say. Finally he had found someone perfect. She told Joey he looked forward to meeting Kaycee, and Joey told his mother to count on it being soon. Joey and Kaycee talked abit longer, and when they hung up. Kaycee smiled. She had fallen and she hoped she was going to hold on to this feeling for as long as she could, the rest of her life would be perfect. She said a quick prayer for God to keep Joey safe, and to bring him to her as soon as possible, and with that she closed her eyes and went to sleep, her mind heavy with thoughts of Joey and her heart full of love.

Kaycee was pacing, it had been 12 days, four hours and five minutes since she last saw Joey, but who's counting really? And now he was on his way to her apartment. She had fixed her hair twice, she had done everything she could do besides go any more stir crazy. There was a knock at the door and she was on her feet, she pulled open her door and saw someone holding roses, two dozen of them. She gasped as she saw them, Joey stood behind the roses smiling. She took the roses from Joey and pulled him inside of her apartment, she laid the roses on the table by her door and jumped into Joey’s arms, kissing him and holding on. When they finally parted, Joey whispered "God I missed you"

Kaycee smiled at him and said "oh me too! I can't believe you are here!!"

Joey pressed his lips against hers, proving that he was indeed there and that they were in each other's arms. Kaycee looked at Joey and said to him "Ok ok you win I believe you are here" She took Joey's hand and they finally left the entranceway of her apartment. Joey pulled her to him as they sat down on the couch, they held on to each other and talked while also sharing kisses. Joey moved a stray hair out of Kaycee's face, and looked into her eyes, Kaycee stared at his face he had the most serious look on it.

"Joey baby what’s wrong?" She asked with concern

"Nothing is wrong, right now things are very right" He said a smile forming across his mouth.

Kaycee smiled and traced his lip with her finger. "I am so glad you are here"

"Me too Bella. Me too" He held her close to him and kissed her again.

"Joey if you don't stop kissing me, we will never go anywhere today"

"I am ok with that, you?"

Kaycee laughed and put her head on his chest. "Normally sweetheart it would be perfect, but my mother wants to meet you remember?"

Joey bent down and kissed her then said "Yes, I remember Bella" Then out of nowhere he remembered something.. "BELLA! what time is it??"

Kaycee looked at her watch "Its quarter till 7:00, what’s wrong do you have a date or something??" she said laughing.

"NO, you do! You have to call Hayley now!!"

"Why?? I spoke to her yesterday"

"Cause JC is on his way his flight landed at 3:15, and we have to call her and make sure she is not going anywhere"

"She doesn't know?"

"Um no." Joey said sheepishly.

"Alright lets do it" Kaycee grabbed the phone and dialed her number.

Hayley answered the phone on the third ring, just as Joey and Kaycee were beginning to get nervous. "Hello?"

"Hey Hayl what’s up?" Kaycee asked

"Not much. Why are you calling? I thought Joey was there?"

"He is. "

"Hi Hayley!!" Joey said into the phone.

"Hi Joey.. what’s going on?" she asked

"Nothing I just wanted to check in on ya and say hello, whatcha up to today?"

"currently I have a mud mask on my face and I am about to paint my toenails"

Joey and Kaycee exchanged a "Oh NO!" look and tried to figure out what to tell her to get her changed fast!.

"Are you going somewhere?"

"No Kay.. what’s up with you.. you sound weird" Hayley said getting a little curious "

Hayl babe, I can't tell you what I want to tell you, but PLEASE go take a shower now"

"Katherine Constance, what is going on?" She asked

Joey grabbed the phone "Hayley hon.. do me a favor.. just listen to your friend please"

Hayley was suspicious but hung up with the two of them, she sat and debated whether to take a shower or just sit and wait to see what was going to happen, and with that before she could make a decision, there was a knock at the door. She opened the door and saw the reason she should have listened.

"Oh my God. JC" she said before he pulled her into his arms crushing her breath from her body.

"Surprise!" JC said

Hayley wanted to crawl under the table "You show up now? when I look like this and you look so good" She cried.

"Should I leave?" he asked

"NO, HEAVENS NO!! I am so happy you are here but I look.."

"Beautiful. you look beautiful"

"No I don't I am a mess, and I was warned but I didn't listen" she said tears forming in her eyes.

JC placed her face in his hands "Hayley You look perfect." and with that JC lowered his mouth to hers.

When they parted Hayley laughed, part of her mask had landed up on JC's face. "Come on baby.. let's go clean our faces off" She said pulling him with her. She could not believe he was there, and she would ask him how it was possible, but first they had to get their faces cleaned off. She ran the hot water in the sink and dipped the washcloth in it. She gently wiped off his face, he just stood there smiling at her. She went to dip the washcloth in the hot water and wash her face, but JC took it from her hands. Softly he wiped her face off, removing the mask and finding a delirious smile under it. He leaned forward and kissed her, "beautiful" He wrapped her up in his arms and kissed her.

"are you going to tell me why you are here?"

"What? not happy to see me?" he said with a frown.

"Oh darling, I am delighted to see you, but I know you are busy, and coming all this way just to..."

"Just to what?? see the woman I am in love with and missed so bad, Chris was ready to throw me off the bus twice?"

Hayley laughed. "Ok ok ok well then I better keep you here to keep you safe"

"Mmmm sounds nice" JC said with a growl.

JC wrapped his arms around Hayley as she led him out of the bathroom, he kissed her numerous times and held on to her. But then he got serious. "Hayley, would you consider going to an award show with me?"

"Sure, when is it?" she asked grabbing her Daytimer.

"Tomorrow" he said flinching.

"Tomorrow?? I don't have a dress, my hair.. .where is it?

"the shrine??"

"No, it's in New York City, and I know I should have mentioned it sooner, but I forgot until Lance reminded me"

"JOSHUA SCOTT!"

"Sweetheart I don't care if you were sweats and a T-shirt just come with me"

Hayley looked at him, and after protesting briefly, she agreed. She told JC they had to go find her something to wear first and he told her he would love to help. She grinned and kissed him. She was going to NYC, it was insane, it was crazy.. the things she did for love.

Back in New York City, Kaycee had just walked in her mothers house holding Joey's hand. She introduced him to her family, praying he would not be overwhelmed. Joey met each one with gusto, shaking hands and even kissing her niece Lea on the cheek. Lea immediately squealed and headed to call her friends and tell them she got kissed by Joey. Kaycee leaned close to Joey and whispered "Imagine how excited she would be if she was me"

Joey smiled and just shook his head afraid of how deep in his mouth it would land if he said what was on his mind. Kaycee's mother pulled her aside and gave her the third degree but finished it with . "Alright Katherine, I approve. He's a nice boy"

"Thanks Momma." She said kissing her mothers cheek.

Kaycee went over and squeezed Joey's hand. "Congrats, love. you passed"

Joey grinned and kissed Kaycee on the top of the head. "I am glad"

They spent the rest of the night talking and laughing, the entire family was taken with Joey and he was already happy to just be there. He could not keep his eyes off of Kaycee and by the end of the night as they were leaving, her mother leaned into him and whispered. "Good night Joseph, come back whenever you want.. you are good for Katherine"

"Yes ma'am. she is good for me too" he said.

Kaycee smiled this was the first man that her mother ever approved of, it had to mean something, but at this moment she didn't know hat.. all she cared about was getting out of the house and heading somewhere private with Joey to show him just how much she missed him. Her eyes sparkled as they headed to the car, he opened her door and she stopped him from walking to his side, she pulled him down and kissed him with power and passion. Joey’s head was spinning when they pulled apart "Wow Bella!"

Kaycee looked at him and just smiled.. "Come on Joey. lets go home"
