| "Oh my god Justin. Look at all the cameras." she said as the limo pulled up to the front entrance. "It's been announced that I was going to be here tonight but I didn't actually think that there would be all these cameras. What are we going to do?" "We are going to do what we always do. We are going to go out there, smile and wave and then enter." Just said patting her hand "Yeah...but you know what everyone will think." she said hesitantly "I know but it doesn't matter. We are here to have a good time and we can't sit in the Limo the whole night. It's going to be fine." Mackenzie smiled when Jeremy came to open her door. "Thank you, Jeeves." she said smiling. Justin was the first to get out of the car as camera flashes went off around him. Everyone knew Kenzie would be there but no one thought Justin would be. He smiled at them before reaching his hand down the Mackenzie and helping her out of the car. "Mackenzie! Justin!" reporters yelled around them as they quickly walked inside. "See that wasn't so bad was it?" Justin asked sliding his hand down her arm to hold her hand. Mackenzie was about to say something when she heard people clapping. She looked around to see everyone turned to her. She unconsciously smiled as she was pushed up on stage and a microphone was shoved in her face. Justin walked over to the side of the stage and smiled when she started talking. "Wow, this place is beautiful," she said looking around, "I want to thank you all for letting me come here tonight and perform. Well I'm not going to talk the whole night so I guess we better get started!" A few people that she didn't recognize came up on stage as she walked over to stand next to Justin. "This isn't the typical prom night but nothing is typical for us, is it?" Music started playing from the DJ that was set up on stage and Justin looked at him questioningly, "He's my music relief. I get "breaks" as they call them." she said when some one called her name. "Go out there and find someone to dance with! Be careful thought, all the guys will be pretty mad when you steal their dates." she turned away and listened to what a man was telling her "How am I supposed to find some one else to dance with when none of them will be as perfect at you are?� Justin said to himself as he watched Mackenzie start to sing on stage. A little while later Justin stopped dancing and went over to talk to Mackenzie who had just gotten off stage. "Hey, your doing great. I love these songs." "Really? Thanks." she said taking a sip of water. " I think its kind of boring since I'm not dancing but they really seem to be enjoying it." "Yeah." Justin said watching her every move. "Would you like to dance? If you don't have to perform for a few more minutes." She looked over at a man who had called her name and frowned. "Actually, Justin, I can't. But in a few minutes I'm going to be done for the night and then I will. I promise. Besides that line of girls over there are going to be pretty upset if I butt in line." he smiled as he watched her walk away even. "This next song I'm singing is one that I wrote...actually a few days ago. A very good friend of mine inspired me to write this. And it's his if he wants it. I hope he realizes that not everyone is like Cara." she said a few minutes later even though no one but Justin knew what she was talking about. Justin watched her speak knowing that she was talking about him. He walked to the side of the stage to get a better view of her and watched in awe when the words started flowing from her mouth. |

I had a lot of fun." she said when everyone started clapping. The DJ started playing music when she walked off the stage and shyly walked over to Justin. "Hey." she said looking down. "Kenzie, that song was like...like wow. Everything that you said I felt. You just sang out my feelings perfectly." he said hugging her. "Thank you Justin." she said smiling. "It's yours. I'm sure with the help of JC we could turn that into a beautiful song for you guys." "No. It already is beautiful, I can't take it." he said cupping her cheek with his hand. Mackenzie smiled when he took his hand away from her face and reached for her hand. She reached up and quickly gave him a kiss on the cheek, "Thank you." she paused and looked up at his shocked face, "I think we should get going now. It's late and we both have to work tomorrow."
