�I honestly don�t know about the skiing part,� Kawika replied, �I guess it was a cover up to throw off the fans. Didn�t one of you say we were scheduled to go to Aspen, Colorado?�
�Yeah,� I said, looking at my itinerary, �I guess not.�
�Right,� he said as we walked towards the baggage claims area, �I think we have to catch a cab to town.�
I pulled out the camera and pointed it towards me, �Hi MTV � we�re here in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where I think we�re not really going to go on a skiing trip.�
�And we�re not going to Aspen, Colorado as we originally thought,� Megan said as I pointed the camera towards her, �I guess that�s a good thing since we�re away from fans.�
�I think this is a secluded place anyway,� Kawika said as I quickly aimed the camera at him, �So we won�t have much problems here.�
�That�s what I�m thinking,� I replied, �This is Kawika, our bodyguard, whom we met at the Memphis Airport earlier today for the first time. That�s a cool name you have, Kawika. What�s it mean?�
�Kawika means David in Hawaiian,� he proudly said.
�Why didn�t your parents go with David instead then?� Megan asked.
�Kawika sounds so much cooler!� I said in awe.
�True.�
�Anyway,� I said, �We�re about to leave, so this is Lynne, Megan & Kawika signing out.�
�Let�s go,� Kawika said after we got our luggage.
We walked outside the small Jackson Hole Airport to the mild climate. �Well, it�s actually pretty nice out here,� I said as the two agreed, �Cab!�
�Now I believe that we are going to stay at the same resort as Joey,� Kawika said while we were in the cab, �I suggest��
�That we don�t bother him?� Megan asked.
�Exactly,� he said, �Just go with the flow. He�s pretty laid-back, so he may just invite you to do things with him. Just don�t push it or go looking for him. Give him the space.�
�Okay,� I said as I looked at the magnificent view outside my window.
*~*~*Spring Creek Resort*~*~*
�Da-yum!� Megan exclaimed as soon as both of us walked inside the hotel room, �We�re living the high life for Joey�s segment!�
�I�d say so!� I said, looking wide-eyed at the room, �The hotel rooms we stayed at before this were pretty nice, but I think this pretty much tops it all!�
We heard a knock from an adjoining door. I quickly laid my stuff down and ran to open the door.
�Ladies, I can get use to this,� Kawika cheerfully said.
�Us too!� I said, then looking at his room, �That�s good that we have a door that separates our room and yours. Your room looks just as good as ours!�
�It�s pretty sweet,� he said, �You know you�re in a good hotel when you have a fireplace in your own room.�
�Perfect for those romantic evenings,� Megan joked.
�Woo hoo,� I exclaimed as we all laughed.
Megan then grabbed the camera and started taping the room, �MTV � this is a nice hotel. Thanks!�
Our phone then rang. �I got it,� I said as I ran towards the phone, �Hello?�
�Is Lynne Clark or Megan Thomas there?� a male voice asked.
�This is Lynne Clark, who is this?�
�Lynne! This is Joey Fatone!�
�Joey! How�s it going?� I excitedly said as Megan pointed the camera at me as Kawika went to sit at the table near me.
�I�m great. Good to hear that you made it into Jackson safely. Was everything okay?� he asked with concern.
�Yeah, everything�s fine so far,� I said, �We met Kawika at the Memphis airport and he�s here with us. So far, so good.�
�Kawika?� Joey asked.
�Yeah,� I replied, noticing his confusion.
�Uh� can I talk to him for a moment?�
�Sure,� I said as I handed the phone to Kawika, �Joey wants to talk to you.�
Kawika gave me a strange look. �Can you leave us for a few minutes?�
�Uh, sure,� I said as Megan and I went to Kawika�s room.
�What�s going on?� she whispered as soon as we closed the adjoining door.
�I don�t know,� I whispered back, �Joey seemed confused when I mentioned Kawika�s name � I don�t know what�s going on.�
As we waited for a few minutes, Megan walked around the hotel room, filming things and the scenic view outside. Kawika finally called for us to come back into the room and handed the phone to Megan.
�Joey wants to meet us for dinner,� Megan said after she hung up the phone.
�Really?� I asked in surprised.
�Yeah � at the restaurant downstairs,� she replied, �He said we should dress nicely.�
�Oh man,� Kawika said, �I hate dressing up.�
Dinner came and went, and it was absolutely fabulous. Joey was what I expected him to be. Outgoing, flirty � a real charmer. No wonder he was good with the ladies. He was just a natural when it came to them. There seemed to be a little tension between Kawika and him � Megan and I couldn�t pinpoint it. It was very puzzling to say the least, but I quickly dismissed it.
�Not a bad way to end a Sunday night,� Megan said when we returned to our hotel room.
�I agree,� I said as I went to set up the laptop, �What a flirt, that Joey.�
Megan nodded in agreement and went to turn on the television. I spend the next 45 minutes checking and responding to the e-mails. Sarah seemed to have the threatening e-mail under control, but she said we should contact her if any more like those come up. As for seeing Justin at Graceland, Sarah still refuses to tell us why it was such a problem. That was a little troublesome, but what can you do, right? We have Kawika now, which is good.
�Can you believe we�re staying till Wednesday?� I asked Megan as I turned off the laptop.
�I know! Two whole days here! We actually get to do some site seeing,� Megan said, �Although I wonder if we have to have a tour guide or if MTV has something planned for us.�
�You mean like what Chris said about having to learn about each place�s pride and joy?� I asked as she nodded, �I don�t know. The only thing I can think of is Yellowstone Park.�
�I guess we�ll find out, won�t we?�
�Guess so.�
*~*~*The next morning*~*~*
�That�s nice of Joey to invite us to breakfast and let us do the interview then,� I said as I got ready, �I wonder why we�re getting it out of the way so early.�
�I don�t know,� Megan said, �But you ready?�
�Yeah, let�s go get Kawika.�

�Thanks for inviting us to breakfast,� Megan said as we arrived at the hotel restaurant.
�No problem,� he said as we sat down at the table filled with food.
�So why are we meeting so early anyway?� I asked, putting some food on my plate, �I thought you weren�t a morning person.�
�I�m not,� he admitted, �But there�s some events that are planned for this afternoon that we�re going on.�
�We�re going on?�
�Yes we,� he said, �I thought it would be fun if I got to know you two better.�
�That�s cool � so what exactly are we doing this afternoon?� I asked.
�And why couldn�t we do the interview tomorrow then?� Megan asked.
�This afternoon is a surprise. All I�m saying is that unless that camera is waterproof, don�t bring it. Bring an extra pair of clothing, wear sneakers and put your hair up,� Joey said as we just look at each other � not knowing what to think.
�Okay�� I said after a moment, �How about the interview being postponed till tomorrow?�
�We have stuff planned for tomorrow that will take up the whole day, so this morning is the only time we can fit it in,� he said.
�I� don�t know what to say but� thank you for giving your time��
�It�s my pleasure,� he smiled, �It�s the least I can do since you two had to do the Graceland tour.�
Megan took out the camera and started filming.
�So how�s your daughter, Brianna?� I asked.
�She�s doing great!� he said fondly, �She�s beautiful. It�s amazing how your life can change once you have kids. You look at the world in a different light.�
�That�s what I heard,� Megan said, �Kids can be a wonderful blessing.�
�I hear you,� he said.
�Okay,� I said, �Anyway, Joey � how�s Kelly doing?�
�She�s doing great! Very exhausted with the baby and all, but that�s expected.�
�I bet it�s tough,� Megan said as Joey nodded, �How�s your leg doing?�
�It�s so much better now! I can do regular stuff now,� he said.
�Does it hurt still?�
�Yeah a little, but what can you do?� he said, �Just deal and go with it.�
�Exactly,� I said, �So how�s the movie?�
�It�s going great. It should be coming out later this year,� he excitedly said.
The next 45 minutes, we talked more about Kelly, Brianna and *N Sync�s charity, Challenge for the Children. By 10A, we were already finished with breakfast and the interview. We decided to split and meet at Kawika�s room at 1:30P.

�You think we should call MTV before we leave?� I asked when we enter our bodyguard�s room.
�Good idea,� Joey said, �Do you happen to have their number?�
�Yeah, let me go get it,� I said as I ran back into our room.
NYC was two hours ahead of us and TRL was going on at that time - lucky for us. Joey, Megan and I talked to Carson � all the while telling him that we were in Aspen instead of Jackson Hole. It was partly because we didn�t want fans to go looking for us in Jackson Hole, and partly because MTV told us to.
�So where are we going?� Megan asked after our phone conversation.
�First up � Yellowstone Park,� Joey said as we head towards the parking lot with not only Kawika as our bodyguard, but with two other bodyguards.

�I guess this is the pride and joy of this town,� I whispered to Megan as we walked into the park.
�I guess so.�
As cool as it was to see geysers and the sorts at the park, the tour was exhausting. We went on a day-hike � whew! That really tires you, but it was interesting! I think what made it worthwhile was the horseback ride we took at the end. That was a lot of fun, although it was even funnier to watch Kawika. He was so awkward on the horse!
*~*~*Back in Jackson Hole*~*~*
�Take a half-hour break,� Joey said, �Then we�re leaving again.�
�Where we going?� Megan asked.
�Another surprise,� he smiled, �Just make sure everything you bring is waterproof and be a minimalist.�
�A minimalist?� I asked.
�Don�t bring a lot of stuff.�
�Oh� okay.�
*~*~*Thirty minutes later*~*~*
�Ready, ladies?� Joey asked as we head towards the car.
�As ready as we�ll every be,� I said with uneasiness.
�Don�t sound so anxious, Lynne,� Joey said, �I�m not going to do anything to put you ladies in danger!�
�That�s comforting to know.�
*~*~*Jackson Hole Whitewater*~*~*
�We�re going whitewater rafting?!� Megan exclaimed.
�Cool!� I said, �I always wanted to try it!�
�Couldn�t we just go horseback riding or something?� Megan asked with a worried look.
�Megan, what�s wrong?� I asked as we started walking towards the main building.
�Nothing�� she replied, �It�s just dangerous��
�Don�t worry, Megan,� Joey said, �It�ll be alright.�
As it turns out, we had a blast. Besides the four of us, there were two other guys who were in the same raft with us (besides the instructor). We were soaked by the time we got off and by the time we got back to the hotel, we were freezing. We had an hour and a half to shower and chill out before we met up with Joey again for dinner.
The rest of the time we were there in Jackson Hole, we went on a two-hour horseback riding tour, a hot-air balloon ride & this really cool slide called the Alpine Slide. Although the slide sounded lame at first, it turned out to be really exciting.

�Well Joey, thanks so much for everything,� Megan said, �We had such a fun time!�
�Yeah,� I agreed, �Whitewater was exciting, and horseback was relaxing. It was all like a short vacation rather than a segment!�
�I had fun too,� Joey said, �It�s been my pleasure in meeting you two.�
�We should go,� Kawika stated, then shook Joey�s hand, �Thanks for everything.�
�No problem,� he responded in an insincere way, �Take care of these two.�
�Sure will.�
Megan and I hugged Joey, then we left to head to Los Angeles.
