Jocie and Hope looked at each other. “This is so crazy.” Jocie thought.
Jocie looked at the guys, “So there is no way you guys are getting back again?”
Before the guys could answer, JC said, “I wanted you guys to know that you are free to do whatever you want but not at this moment. We are doing great now, can’t you guys just stick together for a few more years and then continue doing what you want.” JC looked at Joey, “Say something, Joey.”
Joey took a deep breath before he started talking, “Me and Amanda are going to move to Paris.”
Everybody except Amanda looked at Joey in shocked. No one had heard anything about him moving to Paris.
JC looked at Joey, “JOEY! I thought that at least I still have you to persuade the guys. And now, forget it!” JC couldn’t continue and he stood up and walked away.
Jocie looked at the guys and then went chasing after JC. Hope looked at the guys and sighed, “Why all in the sudden you guys want to leave the group?”
Jocie ran out of the restaurant and she saw JC. She went up to him and grabbed his hand, “Hey! Don’t be sad. The guys just want to move on.”
JC was speechless. He felt that the whole world was going against him. All he wanted to do was to continue singing with the guys but he knew he couldn’t blame them. They had been singing together for the past 7 years and it was just right for them to move on. Jocie looked at him, she knew that JC was trying hard to control his emotion.
She saw someone familiar walking towards them. That was Justin. Justin noticed them and Jocie knew that JC would probably yelled at him so she gave him a look to tell him to leave before JC noticed him. Justin got the hint and quickly turned back and walked to the other direction.
“Joey, you really surprise us.” Chris said.
Lance nodded his head and added, “Three of us have been talking about leaving the group and then we thought you and JC are the only one eager to continue.”
Amanda spoke up for the very first time, “It’s all for me.” she said, “You know my family are all in Paris, and I always wanted to move back to be with them. Joey knew about this so he decided to move back home with me.”
“So what are you guys gonna do there?” Hope asked.
“Not too sure yet. We might start our business, maybe a boutique since Joey is so famous and we are sure people will start patronizing us.” Amanda replied.
“Hey guys.” Someone interrupted them. It was Justin.
“You are late.” Chris stared hard at him.
“I’m sorry.” He said and tried to change the topic, “I saw Jocie and JC. What happen? JC looked furious.”
“It all because of you guys.” Hope said.
“Oh, about us leaving. But he knew about this long time ago, so he shouldn’t get so angry over it.”
Joey looked at Justin and pointed at himself, “It’s me.” He said and started telling Justin about what had just happened.
“WOW! Moving to Paris? I have never heard you say anything about that?” Justin was getting so shocked but yet excited at the same time, as Paris was his favorite city.
“Neither do we.” Lance said.
Chris chimed in, “Yeah! A big surprise.”
Justin started asking lots of questions to Joey above moving to Paris. Chris and Lance seemed very excited at the same time too and they started joining the conversation.
Hope stared at the ceiling. After some time she felt that she had enough of them, she stood up and said, “Guys! I’m leaving! All of you can do whatever you want but you guys seemed to have forgotten about your friend, JC.”
The rest of them looked at Hope as she walked out of the restaurant just like JC and Jocie.
“Oh dear, look what we have done.” Lance sighed.
