A Heart too Young to Stop Love Chapter 4

The Showing

**Small clips of the Where Are They Now special**

These five guys blew up in the late 90s. Coming out in the US in 98 *Nsync was one of the top ranking bands out there. In early 2001 they proved to critics that they planned on staying and that pop/rock was going to live on with their single Pop then in early July *Nsync lost one of their own. Heres there story on VH 1s Where Are They Now special with *Nsync, the announcer told whoever was watching.

They where five men; Chris Kirkpatrick, J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and Justin Timberlake. Each knew each other from other places. The group began with a dream that the eldest of the group thought up, with coming up with the idea Pennsylvania native Chris Kirkpatrick called Tennessee native Justin Timberlake. With a bright idea Justin called an old friend from the Mickey Mouse Club, Maryland native, J.C. Chasez.
Going to a club Chris, J.C., and Justin met Joey soon *Nsync was formed but the guys soon found themselves looking for a bass voice. Researching threw his vocal coach Justin found the member they where looking for a Mississippian named Lance Bass and the group was complete. A year later the guys found themselves flying to Germany and working on their first album. Blowing up in Europe the group traveled back home to find the same fame and more, but the group soon found themselves in deep waters when they sued their former manager, Lou Pearlmen. Whos also had trouble with other groups such as the Backstreet Boys and his-own-formed-group O-Town. After settling the lawsuit the group moved to a better label, Jive Records. Releasing their junior album, No Strings Attached they blew their audience away with such singles as Bye Bye Bye, Its Gonna Be Me, and This I Promise You. In early May of 2001 the group released their new single Pop from their senior album Celebrity. With this song they told off their critics who asked when the pop trend would end. By saying things like, Sick and tired of all these people talking about whats the deal with this pop life and when is gonna fade out...think you gotta realize what were doin is not a trend we got the gift of melody and were gonna bring it till the end... With a new single and a new album due out in July, the group went out on tour. In the begging of July J.C. Chasez was the first of the group to get married. He married long time girlfriend, Johanna Star, who was a college student in Florida, but tragedy soon struck the new newly wed and *Nsync. New-wife Johanna woke up to her husband half-dead in their bed. When they finally reached the hospital her husband had become the late J.C. Chasez.

J.C., never got to see his daughter, Lance said.

A month after his friends death the guys got news from Johanna that she was a month pregnant with JCs child. Johanna was grief struck during the time of her pregnancy says, I dont think I could have made it threw the whole thing without the guys.
Knowing this the remaining guys of *Nsync helped their best friends wife and their close friend threw everything. Helping each other like a family the guys and Johanna beat the their emotions and the rumors flying around that theyd broken up and in May of 2002, Justine Heather Chasez was born. The guys wouldnt leave Johanna to be a single mom; they had gone threw enough. Not knowing that something was going on with Lance and Johanna.
During the time of Johannas pregnancy she had been staying with Lance Bass the second youngest of the group at his Florida based home only a couple of miles away from the Chasez residence. The two began getting closer then they expected. When Justine was born Lance became the father figure in her life and when she turned 2 1/2 Justine soon found her father and mother getting married.
Even now the guys deal with the death of their friend, group mate, and brother. Also betting the odds and sticking together the guys have released 4 albums since JCs death. Working on a new album, again dedicated to the late J.C. Chasez called Rain with songs such as; Nothings the Same Without You, Big Daddy, Emotions, and duet with Johanna Chasez-Bass called Night.
Johanna has married again she hasnt forgotten her late husband and when she married again she only kept his last name and added her new husbands onto it. Their daughter Justine has turned out like her late father. Shes started to sing and dance just like him, Justin told them.
Justine refers to the guys except for Lance as her uncles. Lance she calls her daddy, Joey tells us.
Threw hard times and good times this group has always come out on top. Leaving the world breathless with their music, their strength, and their ability to still have fun. Well one of their own looks down on them Its no wonder the group has become a legend all their own.
