For their Love
It had only been a day sense the conversation about J.C. had come up. Johanna was working at home instead at the office. She owned her own management/ producing/ recording/ agency company but she also helped with Lance�s company when she could. Right now Lance and the guy�s where recording their new album called, �Longing�. It was their 8th album, their 4th sense J.C. had died; on there 4th one they had just finished it when J.C. had died.
Johanna had been thinking about what Kelly had said yesterday we�ll she drew up the new tour stage for an artist she had signed to her company. She wondered what song�s they would be playing; during JC�s time he had sung and written so many songs it wasn�t funny. There could be songs from when he was on the Mickey Mouse Club to when he sang on stage in Hartford, Connecticut. She knew they would show that one, cause when he performed in Hartford with the guy�s it had been his last performance for the world to see.
Just as she finished up the design the phone rang, she looked at the caller id. It showed VH 1 and it�s number. �They must be calling for Lance,� she thought. �Hello!�
**Conversation**
�Hello, Mrs. Bass?� A man asked.
�Yes, this is she,� she answered.
�Hi, this is VH 1. We�ve been planning on doing a special about J.C. Chasez. Right now we�re only doing his songs and showing him on the MMC and other show�s he has done, but we want to do other thing�s to memorize him,� he told her.
�What where you planning?� She asked. Johanna had stopped everything she was doing and listened to them.
�We where thinking of doing a �Where Are They Now� show. It�s going to have all the guy�s hopefully, but we�re most centering it around J.C. Chasez, we where also thinking of having a movie special on him. If you and the guy�s will consent to it,� the man finished up telling her.
�How much do you have planned?�
�We have most of it planned. We have the script for the movie special and how we might do the �Where Are They Now� show,� he answered.
�How does the script go and who�s in it?�
�The script start�s out by showing him as a little kid, then him getting the MMC part, meeting Justin and the other guy�s, doing *N Sync, doing his other project�s, and the end of his time. Everyone from the guy�s to you is in it.�
�Me?�
�Yes, Mrs.. You where a big part of his life and everyone knows how much the two of you were in love.�
�What happens if I can�t do the interview?�
�We would understand.�
�When where you planning on talking to the guys about this?�
�As soon as we could, but we where also hopping if you agreed to do it...or if not that you would still talk to the guy�s for us.�
Johanna thought for a moment. Then told him, �I�ll talk to them about it and get back to you.�
�Thank you. Do you have our number?� He questioned.
�Yes, I do,� she answered.
�Ok, thank you again.�
�You�re welcome. Good bye,� she finished.
�Good bye.� They hung up the phone.
**End of conversation**
�Lance, honey. You here?� Johanna walked threw the long hall way from the kitchen to Lance�s office that was right next to hers.
�Right here, Jo,� he called to her.
She walked in and stood in front of him and his desk. After a couple of minutes of thinking she would talk Lance stopped what he was doing and looked up at her. �What�s wrong?�
�Why do we always think when one of us isn�t talking something is wrong,� she kidded. She walked behind his desk and looked at what he was doing.
�I�m drawing up plans for Meredith's tour,� he showed her. He showed her points and thing�s of the stage and then looked up at her kissing her on the cheek and taking her hand. �Now what�s wrong?�
Johanna looked at him and sat on the chair that he always had next to him whenever Johanna wanted to sit near him. �Remember when Kelly said that VH 1 was dong a special on J.C.?�
Lance looked at her and went quiet, but he shook his head up and down.
�Well they called asking if we wanted to do �Where Are They Now� special on you guy�s and him. They also wanted to do a movie special on him, including the rest of the guy�s and me. They said we didn�t have to play �us�, but I know they would want us to.�
Lance kept looking at her then finally cleared his throat. �What do you want to do?� He asked.
�Lance it�s not just up to me. You and the guy�s where the biggest part of his life, it�s your choice too.�
�I know, honey, but everyone knows that you were another part of his life and I know that too. If he hadn�t died you and I wouldn�t be together. When it comes to him though we always turn to you.�
�I know.�
�When you tell the guy�s they�ll turn to you also. Wondering if it�s ok, if it�s ok with you then they can make the decision for themselves,� after a long pause. �So what do you want to do?�
Johanna looked down at her and Lance�s hand�s that where folded into each other�s. �Lance it has been 4 year�s sense J.C. died, I know I still love him and I know I love you...I think this could help us. It could be a closing for you, Justin Joey, Chris, and me. Maybe even for his family and when Justine grows up we can show it to her and she�ll know what really went on. I also know it�s going to be the hardest thing I�ve ever done in my life, but you and the guy�s will be there for me you always have sense day 1.�
�So you want to do?� Lance questioned.
He was looking right at Johanna now, he knew all about what she was saying. Lance agreed with her and he knew that the guy�s and him hadn�t really ever gotten over JC�s death. They knew they never would but they needed some sort of closer.
�Yes I want to do if you and the other guy�s will do it.�
Lance took her hands with both of his, brought them up, and kissed them looking into her eyes� when he finished. �I love you,� he told her.
�I know I love you two,� she replied. They wrapped their arms around each other and never let go.
