�So where are we going?� Sarah asked.
�Anywhere except home.� Jocelyn replied back.
�Why?� Sarah looked at Jocelyn curiously.
�I had a quarrel with Chris yesterday.�
�Because of Trevor?� Sarah asked.
�Yeah. He kept asking me about him. I don�t think he believe we are dating.�
�He�s right anyway. Both of you are just pretending.�
�SARAH.� Jocelyn yelled at her.
�Ok ok.� Sarah said, �So what are we going to do next.�
�I don�t know.� Jocelyn said.
�JOCIE.� Someone shouted from behind.
Jocelyn turned back, �Hi.� She replied. It was Paul � Jocie and Sarah classmates.
�Are you free tonight? Could you go to a party with me.�
�Paul,� Jocelyn looked at him, �I would love to but I have something on tonight, right Sarah.� Jocelyn turned back and looked at Sarah.
�Hmm� yeah. You are too late Paul. Jocie has a date with my brother.� Sarah said.
�HIS BROTHER?� Paul looked at Jocelyn.
�Yeah. He is my boyfriend.�
�JOCIE. Why can�t you give me a chance.� Paul asked.
�Paul, I am sorry. We are just friends.� Jocelyn said and looked at Sarah, �We�ve to go.� Jocelyn said and waved Paul goodbye without giving him a chance to say anything.
�Oh, look at him. He�s so sad.� Sarah said.
�Sarah, stop talking about him. Let�s go.� Jocelyn said.
-At the shopping mall-
�Hey. Your birthday is coming up in 3 weeks time. So how are you going to celebrate your 20th birthday.� Sarah asked.
�I don�t know.� Jocelyn paused for a few seconds. �All I want is�Lance to come back to me.� Jocelyn said and took out a piece of tissue and started wiping away her tears.
�Please Jocie. Just forget about him. It�s not worth it,� Sarah pleaded, �He hurt you so much and he just doesn�t care about you.�
Jocelyn walked away as she refused to hear what Sarah had said. She looked around and saw someone familiar.
�Let�s go.� Jocelyn walked towards Sarah and held her hand.
�But we just reach here,� Sarah tried to stop her, �Why are you in such a hurry?� Sarah asked but Jocelyn ignored her and kept walking faster and faster.
�JOCIE! STOP IT.� Sarah shouted and Jocelyn looked at her and let go her hand.
Jocelyn looked down on the floor and kept quiet.
Sarah looked around, she heard some girls screaming at the opposite side of the mall. She looked towards that direction and guess who she saw. Yeah, it was Lance and Laura.
She turned back and looked at Jocelyn, �Are you trying to run away from him and that bitch?�
Jocelyn looked at her and kept quiet.
�Why are you behaving like this? This is not the kind of girl I knew,� Sarah said. �You are asking Trevor to be your boyfriend because you want to prove to everyone out there that you can live without Lance. But, to me you just can�t forget him.�
�Sarah. It�s tough. I really tried, but I just can�t.� Jocelyn started crying. Sarah walked towards her and hugged her tightly. �Come on Jocie! You can do it. Now listen to me, just walk towards them and say hi to them.�
�I can�t. Laura is with him and I don�t want to see her.�
�NO! I am sure that bitch must be very happy that Lance dumped you for her. You got to go up to her and prove that you are so much better than her.�
Sarah put her arm around her shoulder, �Come on. Let�s go.�
Jocelyn looked at Sarah and nodded her head.
�Lance, hurry up. We�ve to rush off.� Laura said impatiently.
� Okay just a few more autograph.� Lance said.
�So Lance, what are you guys doing right now?� one of the fans asked.
�Oh, we are taking about 3 months break.� Lance said.
�WHAT? So long???�
�Yeah. But don�t worry we will start recording our fourth album right after the break. And this album will be a lot different from our previous albums.�
�So are you going back to Mississippi to visit your family?�
�Most probably.�
�Have you finished?� Laura asked again.
�Can�t she just wait?� one of the fan started whispering to her friend.
�Yeah. Can�t she be a little bit nicer.�
�Alright, this is the last one,� Lance signed and looked at his fans, �Thanks for supporting NSYNC and sorry I have to go.� Lance looked at his fans again and smiled to them.
Laura looked at the fans and then at Lance, �Can�t you just walk away instead of wasting so much time with all these girls?�
�Laura,� Lance looked at her and sigh, �They are my fans and how can I ignore them. You are a celebrity too and you should know how important fans are.�
�Yeah, but I don�t need fans to support me.� Laura said.
Lance stared back, �No wonder you are voted as the most unfriendly celebrity.� Lance shoot back
�ARE YOU TRYING TO START A FIGHT?� Laura yelled.
�Sshh� we are in public,� Lance looked around anxiously, hoping that no one was looking at them. �I am not trying to quarrel with you but this isn�t the way to treat our fans.�
�I don�t need you to teach me what to do. I am still one of the best actress and I still get my part in the movie. Who cares about fans.�
�Whatever!� Lance replied and walked away, he couldn�t believe what Laura had just said.
�LANCE. Are you leaving me here all by myself.� Laura shouted.
Lance stopped and turned back, �Do you need me to carry you?� Lance thought angrily.
�Okay,� Lance said and walked towards her, �I�m sorry, can we go now?�
�Listen Lance, I am not going to talk to you again if you dare to leave me alone again.� Laura said.
But Lance wasn�t listening to her. He saw someone familiar across the road. That was Jocelyn and Sarah.
�Lance, are you listening to me.� Laura asked. �What are you looking at?� She asked again and looked at the direction Lance was looking,
�Oh isn�t that JOCIE.� Laura said and started laughing, �Great, so nice to see her again.� Laura said sarcastically.
