�JOCIE.� Chris shouted from the hall.
Jocelyn did not answer him and she was still in her bed. Chris walked towards her room.
-Knock knock-
�Come in� Jocelyn replied.
�Jocie, it�s already 7.30am, aren�t you going to school.�
�I am not going, I think I�m having a fever.� Jocelyn replied back.
Chris walked towards her and put his hand on her forehead, �No, u are not having a fever. Quick, don�t be a lazy girl, get up from the bed, I will drive you to school today.� Chris said and pulled Jocelyn up from her bed.
�LET GO OF ME, CHRIS.� Jocelyn screamed.
Chris was shocked, �HEY! You don�t have to scream at me like that?� he yelled back.
�I�m sorry. But I really don�t feel like going to school today. Can�t you just leave me alone.� Jocelyn went back to her bed.
�Okay, anything you like. Is there something I should know?� Chris asked.
�No.�
�Ok. Oh yeah, yesterday you and Lance��
�STOP MENTIONING HIM, please.� Jocelyn pleaded.
�What happen?� Chris was shocked, he knew that something terrible must have happened between them.
�WE BROKE UP.� Jocelyn shouted, �PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE.� and she stood up waiting for Chris to leave her room.
�WHAT?" Chris paused for a seconds before he continue, "Oh Okay, have a good rest. Don�t think too much.� Chris nodded his head and walked out from her room. Jocelyn went back to her bed and covered herself with her blanket.
7 hours later
-Ring Ring-
Jocelyn jumped up from her bed. �Who�s that f***ing idiot.� Jocelyn yelled.
She walked down from the stairs feeling really tired. For the past week, she was not sleeping well.
She walked towards the door and opened it and saw Sarah Matt, her best friend in college.
�Hey. Are you alright?� Sarah gave a hug to Jocelyn and walked into the house.
�Fine. I just don�t feel like going to school today.� Jocelyn said, �How�s everything.�
�Awful! Mrs Timber wants us to hand in the project one week earlier than the actual date. I haven�t even started the project and now I�m in deep trouble.
Hmm, you have started already?� Sarah looked at Jocelyn.
�Nope. I�m really isn�t in a good mood for the past week.�
�Oh yeah. So everything okay between you and Lance?�
Jocelyn looked away trying to avoid the question.
�Jocie. Did u hear me?� Sarah looked at her in concern.
�Yeah. Sarah��Jocelyn paused and looked up, �We broke up.�
�BROKE UP?�
�Yeah.�
�What happen?�
�He said he never love me. He�s going back to his ex-girlfriend.� Jocelyn said and tears started dropping.
�WHAT? He has never loved you? And is going back to that bitchy Laura. IS HE CRAZY OR WHAT? DOESN�T HE REMEMEBRED WHO IS THE ONE BY HIS SIDE WHEN HE WAS FEELING DOWN.� Sarah said out loud, �It�s you, my dear. What is he doing all these?�
�I don�t know.� Jocelyn replied back softly.
�I should have realise that. I mean he is never serious with you. Remember, apart from JC, Joey, Justin, Chris and I, no one knows about the relationship between you and Lance.�
-Flashback-
-Two and a half months ago-
�Did u watch the interview just now?� Sarah asked sounding angry.
�Of course, Entertainment Beat rulz!� Jocelyn beamed, �But why you sound so angry, Sarah?�
�Why? I should be the one asking you.� Sarah looked at Jocelyn furiously.
�Hey, calm down! I don�t understand why you��
�WHY AM I ACTING SO WIERLD, RIGHT?� Sarah interrupted Jocelyn.
Jocelyn looked at her and nodded her head continuously.
�Oh yeah, are u dating someone, Lance?� Sarah changed her voice trying to sound like the host of Entertainment Beat, �Nope! I�m not. I am single at the moment and enjoy it.� Sarah trying to imitate what Lance had just said in the interview.
�HAHAHA, you are really good at imitating people.� Jocelyn laughed loudly and almost fell down from the chair.
�JOCIE.� Sarah stared at her.
�Okay.� Jocelyn stopped but was still trying to control her laughter.
�This is serious.� Sarah looked at Jocelyn.
�Serious?� Jocelyn was puzzled.
�Miss Jocelyn Mya Kirkpartick, your boyfriend is trying to hide the truth. Is it really embarrassing to date Chris�s sister or maybe it is embarrassing to date someone who is the nicest person out there in the world. Does he know what he is doing?� Sarah said.
�I don�t think that is a problem.� Jocelyn stood up, �Sarah, you still remember what I told you.� Jocelyn said and looked at Sarah. Sarah nodded her head.
�When NSYNC became popular, almost everyone in school who I didn�t even know their names came to me, trying to be my friends. I was like in the centre of attraction which I hate it.� Jocelyn said and walked towards to refrigerator before she continued. �And the most awful thing, was that those Anti NSYNC fans, they were always disturbing and bulling me. And that why I hate the time when I was in high school.�
�I am sorry. I don�t mean to rank up your unhappiness moments, but things are different over here in college. Everyone is mature. But Jocie, I just feel that Lance is being too selfish and it unfair to you.� Sarah said.
�Thanks, I�m glad to have you as my friend.� Jocelyn smiled, �But it�s ok with me. I don�t really care about this.�
-End of flashback-
�Sarah, I am fine. I�m going back to school tomorrow.� Jocelyn said, �I need sometime alone and I hope it�s fine with you.�
�No problem. Jocie, remember that I will always be by your side. If u need someone, call me and I will appear right in front of you in seconds.�
Jocelyn looked at her and smiled for the first time since she broke up with Lance, �Sure.�
