Lance jumped out of the car, and rushed to the doors. Pushing through the revolving doors, he hurried to a small counter where a nurse was sitting.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"YES, I am looking for Jocelyn Mya Kirkpartick? She was in a car accident, and was sent here.�
"Oh, Mr Bass." she looked at him, obviously knowing that he was part of the most famous group in the world.
�Cara� She called out to a nurse who walked towards to their direction. She whispered something to her and said, �she will show the way.�
Stepping off the elevator, the nurse started pointing him the direction. Lance spotted Chris and Justin. He ran towards them, �How is she?� He kept asking Chris.
�I don�t know. We received a call from the police this morning and we just reached here.�
�She is still inside.� Justin pointed at the operation room.
�Please god. Please do not take her away from us.� Chris pleaded with tears around his eyes.
�JOEY, JC.� Justin shouted at the guys, �We are over here.�
The guys spotted them and ran towards, �How is she?� Joey asked.
�We don�t know,� Justin
Twenty minutes later, the door of the operation room opened. The doctor walked out from the room.
�Anyone from her family?� He asked looking at the 5 guys.
�Yes, I�m his brother.� Chris stood up.
�I'm very sorry.� He said. �We tried our my best.
"WHAT? What's wrong? Where is she? I want to see her!" Lance shouted and tried to push everyone away.
Joey came over to Lance, and tried to pull him. �Stop that. Lance, please she is gone.�
�NO!!� She is still alive. Let go of me. I want to see her.� Lance started to push Joey away.
Chris walked towards the doctor, �Can we see her.� He asked.
�I'm sorry, I can't allow that, you shouldn't see her right now." the doctor told him.
�Please, for just one minute.� Justin pleaded.
�Let me see her. Please. I have� I have to say goodbye to her.� Lance said, choking on his own tears.
�I am sorry. This is hospital�s rules.� The doctor said and walked away shaking his head.
Lance collapsed. His tears started falling uncontrollably. �Why? Why can�t she wait for me?� he kept asking.
Justin looked at him and tried to lift him up to the chair, �Lance.� He said trying to control his tears.
Chris stood up and started wiping away his tears, �I have to call mum and dad.� He said and took out his cell phone.
�Chris.� JC said, �Let me do it.� JC volunteered to help Chris as he knew how sad Chris was feeling right at that moment.
Joey looked around and placed his arm around Chris�s shoulder, �Be strong.� He said.
He then walked towards Lance who still sobbing. Justin was there with him trying to console him. He looked around, �I think I have to call Sarah.� He said and walked towards a corner and started dialling his cell phone.
"Hello.� Sarah greeted cheerfully.
�Hey Sarah, this is Joey.�
�Hey Joey, nice to hear from you. Oh by the way, did you see Jocie? She was supposed to be in school today but she��
�Sarah,� he interrupted, �Jocie met with an accident. I�m so sorry. She is gone.�
Sarah sucked in a breath, and covered her mouth with her hands.
�WHAT?� she screamed. �She is what?� Sarah finally managed to choke out.
�I am sorry.�
�I was just talking to her over the phone yesterday and please Joey, please tell me she is ok?� Sarah pleaded.
Joey kept quiet.
�No way. Jocie isn�t going to leave us here.� Sarah cried. She was feeling terrible. She had never felt so scary in her entire life.
�I�ve to get to the hospital.� She shouted and started to run for her car.
-One week later-
Johnny looked at the Lance seriously.
�Are you serious?� He said
�Yes. I�m tired of all these. I don�t want to sing any more.�
�Lance. I know how terrible the past week is for you. I�m feeling really sad too. But��
�I can�t. I really can�t. She went away without knowing that I love her. It�s my fault. If I didn�t break up with her in the first place, this might not happen.�
�Lance. This isn�t the time to blame yourself. It was an accident. Nobody wants this to happen.�
�Yeah, Lance. Please NSYNC will not be the same without you.� Joey pleaded.
�Everyone was feeling tired and upset over this.� JC said.
Chris stood up, �I�m going to carry on singing. Jocie is proud of me being as one of the best boybands and I�m not going disappoint her.�
�Yeah. She wants you to be happy. Lance, please. Can�t you make her happy for the very last time.� Justin pleaded, �She is up in the heaven watching over us.�
Lance walked towards the window and looked up in the sky.
After some thoughts, �I don�t know.� He said.
�How about that. You guys take a break. I will tell the fans that you guys will be back one day.� Johnny said and forced out a smile.
�But,� Lance said, � I really don�t know. I don�t know when I have the strength to start singing again.
�You have to.� Chris said. �Jocie want us to be happy. I know that.� He said and turned towards to Johnny, �But we really need a long break. Maybe a year or even longer.�
�Sure. Take all the time you need.�
