Eternal Chapter 7
-At the Airport-
�Why is she doing here?� Nic asked while pointing at a young lady in a pink dress.
�HEY! ISN�T THAT BRITNEY SPEARS?� Jen said out loud.
�WHO? Britney Spears? Where?� I asked looking around anxiously.
I wasn�t really a big fan of Britney Spears. But I do have to admit that I really love her songs and she�s good at dancing.
Meghan (my cousin) was lucky to have won a backstage pass to meet her when she was doing a concert in Dallas last December. According to Meghan, Britney was the sweetiest and down to earth popstars she had ever met. I always wanted to meet her but never had a chance. So when I knew that she was at the airport, I was really excited.
Believe or not, I almost went for the MMC audition when I was 11. But I had to give up the opportunity because of my studies. Well, I was glad I didn�t go for the audition because I didn�t want to spend my time in the same studio as Justin. I hate Justin Timberlake from the very first moment I met him. I guessed we were probably enemies in our previous lives. Anyway, even before I met him, I had this feeling that both of us won�t click. I always thought that Britney deserve someone better than him but Jade doesn�t think so. She felt that Justin deserves someone nicer just like her. Well, I do agree that Jade was the friendliest and greatest girl I had ever known. But come on, putting Jade and Justin together� well, it just doesn�t work.
�See that girl wearing pink?� Stace pointed.
�Yeah,� I answered back, �Oh my god, that�s Britney Spear. Wow, she�s beautiful.�
�A big fan?� Jen asked.
�Nah� I just like her songs.�
�Wondering why she is doing here?� Nic looked at us trying to get an answer.
Stace and I looked at each other and shaked our head.
�Why don�t you ask her.� Jen said.
� Me�� Before Nic could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by someone.
�Hi girls.� Joey waved at us.
Four of us gave a broad smile and waved back.
�Finally someone saw us.� I thought.
We walked towards the direction where the guys and Britney were standing.
�Yo Girls! This is my girlfriend and you guys know her name right?� Justin said and looked at me.
�Hey of course I know her. You don�t have to look at me in this way.� I thought angrily.
�Yeah! She�s Britney Spears.� Nic said and started introducing herself and the rest of us followed her.
�Oh just to tell you guys that Britney will be joining us too.� Justin smiled and looked at Britney.
�Yup. I�ve finished my tour 2 weeks ago and I decided to join you guys for about a month to give my morale support before I headed back home.� Britney explained.
�Wow. That�s cool.� I smiled.
�Yeah! I mean it�s great to have you with us.� Stace replied.
�Aww� thanks. I thought you guys gonna hate me.� Britney replied back.
�What on earth makes you think that?� I asked.
�Yeah, why?� Jen asked curiously.
�Nope. I thought that since you guys are going on tour, I shouldn�t be distributing you all.�
�Hey baby, if anyone out that dare to say anything bad about you,� Justin said and looked at all of us as if he was going to eat us up, �I�m going to kick their a**.�
Everyone including Britney looked at Justin and started laughing at him.
�Anyway, Britney, tell us about experience the first time you went on tour.� Nic asked.
�Well, it was frightening. I mean being on the stage with thousands of people watching you sing and dance was something really scary but�� Britney sat down and started talking about her experience and everyone started crowded around her except me.
I walked towards the entrance and looked at my watch. It was already 2.30 am and where was Jade? I took out my cell phone and started calling her.
Ring Ring
she didn�t answered my call. I was really worried.
�Jade please answered my call.� I pleaded.
Ring Ring
�I am not going to wait anymore.� I said and hanged up the phone.
I decided to send a text message to her.
� Hey girl, where are you now? Please reply to me ASAP.�
Suddenly someone patted on my shoulder. I turned back, it was Lance.
�JJ, I thought your friend is coming with us?� he asked.
�Yeah! But I don�t know.� I almost break into tears.
He put his arm around my shoulder, �What happen?�
�I hope nothing happen,� I looked at Lance, �She didn�t answered my call.�
Beep Beep
It was my cell phone. There was a new message for me and I pressed the button to read, it was from Jade.
�Sorry JJ. The cab broke down and I had to hail for a new one. Give me 10 more minutes. C ya later!.�
I looked at Lance and smiled, �Phew, that was Jade. She is coming soon.�
Lance looked and me and smiled.
�This girl is really different from the rest of girls I had ever met. Look at the way she reacted when she couldn�t find her friend. She is so caring. I really want her to be my� NO NO� I shouldn�t be thinking about this. She will never go out with me.� Lance thought sadly.
�Lance.� I looked at him. He seemed to be in deep thought.
�Mr Lance Bass.� I said and waved at him at the same time.
�Oops, sorry. What?� Lance looked at me.
�Let�s get in. It�s cold here.� I said and then hold his hand.
Lance was shocked. He didn�t expect me to hold his hand. But I just wanted him to get in fast so I hold his hand.
�Your hand is warm.� I looked at him.
Lance looked back and smiled.
-About 10 minutes later-
�Hey! I�m sorry I�m late.� Jade apologized trying to catch her breath.
�Nah it okay, pass me your passport.� Colleen said.
�Thanks.�
�No poblem.� Colleen smiled and walked towards the check-in counter with Nicole (NSYNC manager)
�Hey guys. This is the beautiful, cute, smart, nice, caring girl I have been telling u guys about.� I said proudly. Jade was my greatest friend and I proud to have her as my buddy.
�Hey! Please don�t say that, JJ. You are making me so embarrassed.� Jade gave me a pinch.
�HAHAHA�. Anyway guys, she is Jadera Amber Thompson.� I said.
�Just call me Jade.� Jade smiled. She was excited because this was the first time she was standing so close to NSYNC.
�OMG. They are so gorgeous. Justin is so cute.� She thought.
�Hi Jade. Heard that you are our biggest fan.� Chris gave a broad smile.
�Yeah and you have make a great choice, my dear.� Justin smiled.
�Thanks. I am glad to know you guys. It had always been my dream to know u all.
Do u know that u guys have make me realize that without music, life will be really boring.�
�Oh, really? Thanks sweetie.� Joey replied.
�JC isn�t Jade beautiful?� Justin whispered as he didn�t want Britney to hear that.
�Yeah!� JC nodded his head, �but��
�But what?� Justin asked.
�I prefer JJ.�
�WHAT?? JJ??? That stuck up girl. Oh come on, JC wake up.�
�Hey Justin, mind your words.� JC said angrily.
�Oh sorry.� Justin apologized.
�Hello?? Have you guys forgotten about me.� Britney stood up.
�Britney Spears??� Jade was shocked, �Why is she doing here?� Jade looked at Nic in puzzled.
�She is joining us. Just like you. To give us and NSYNC her moral support.�
�Oh I see. Nice to meet see.� Jade smiled and shook Britney�s hand.
�Hey guys! We need to get in now.� Colleen said.
�Yeah, it�s almost time and I didn�t want any fans to notice u guys.� Nicole smiled.
�Alright, let�s go.� Lance and Chris said together.
� Here we come, New York.� I smiled.
