Candy's Concert Experience
Houston Astrodome
July 6th 2001
Hey guys! OMG! is all I have got to say! Ok, I got into Houston about 2, and
I checked into the hotel, next to the arena and met up with my bestfriend. We
walked over there and got there about 2:30. We walked up to the event staff
in the yellow shirts and asked them where the guys were going to be dropped
off at. So we walked to the spot and just had missed them! I was so mad. lol.
So we stood there for a while and talked to Brian one of the guys, and then
we saw Tim Miller. Ok, for those who don't know Mr. Miller, he owns Nsync,
the stage, EVERYTHING! So, I called him over and I go your Mr. Miller, and he
grinned and looked at me like I was crazy. I go no seriously your the
production manager, the guy that runs this whole thing! And he nodded and
gave me a look to keep it on the DL. Lol. So I told my bestfriend who he was
and he turned away and I was like wait! Wait! and I asked him if he had any
better seats and he said sorry he had given them away earlier. So I walk back
to the spot under the tree and then see a lady on a scooter with her hair
through a orange hat and a orange shirt on. I noticed it was Lynn, Justin's
mom so I screamed at her and she turned around and waved and said hi, and she
had to go. so she went on.
My bestfriend and I waited around and then saw this event staff guy in a blue shirt so I walked over to him and I was like
hi, and stuff. and then we got to talking. It turns out he travels with the
guys and stuff. So I was like can you go get trace and tell him that he has
two friends of his g/f outside. So he said he'd try to find him. Well, before
he could we saw a van leave with Nsync and TRACE. lol. So we were like ok now
what? So he said he'd go find Lynn and see what she could do. Well he came
back and was like ok she's on one of the busses and I shouldn't bother her
cause I'm sure she's sleeping.
So we talked to the guy some more and then we
saw a tour bus come up. Turns out Eden's Crush is on it. They all come off
and we wave at them and they go into the venue. Then Steve comes out and my
friend and I didn't want to say nothing cause he kept on looking at us, and
we didn't want a commotion started so we stayed quite. Then we talked to the
guy in the blue(ill call him blue guy now, and i wont say his name for
personal reasons) well we decided to go in and we got inside and found our
seats which they turned out better than we thought they would. We had floor
seats so when steve came out to talk to us we walked up to the front and got
pics, and then he started talking and we find out that his dad's group is
going to open for Nsync so he brought them onto stage and they did about 3
songs, which they are pretty cool!
I have pics on the digital camera so I
can't sell them unless you really want the pic, I'll copy it onto photo paper
and mail it to you. Just tell me. I swear Joey's dad looks just like Joey.
Then steve came out and introduced Eden's crush, they we're pretty good.
Then, I think Dante Thomas came out, I didn't know who he was so I didn't get
any pics sorry! LoL. After him Lil Romeo came out!!! He's SO adorable!!!
My
friend and I walked over to the middle seats and sat RIGHT next to the
catwalk thingy, and trust me we didn't expect to have seen what we saw! Well,
after Lil Romeo, Samantha Mumba came on, she sounded sick when she talked. It
might had just been her normal voice, but you could tell when she sung too. I
have some pics I am waiting to be developed on her, they should be done by
tuesday.
Then, we waited what seemed like forever for Nsync, but was only
30 minutes, and they came out and walked RIGHT by us! OMG! My pics are going
to be so good! I have a sample pic of Chris and Justin during Gone to show
you how good my pics will be if you are interested in buying some, ok? Well
anyhow we we're at our spots until the middle of the guys performance(also
did I mention that the blue guy gave us a set list of the songs??well he did,
so we knew what songs we're coming!)
Well were sitting there and the yellow
event staff guy comes by and makes us move for not having our tickets for
those seats so we go find the blue guy and follow him around the whole time!
he didn't care at all cause we'd talk to him, and when the guys are up at the
top of the middle stage singing Something Like You, or Falling, Lance walked
over to the side and saw us, and then he kept on waving at the people behind
us, and the blue guy held the other girls back and were like telling me and
my friend that it was ok that we stood where we were. So when Lance threw his
towel I CAUGHT IT! OMG! all of the other girls gave me the MEANEST LOOK! I
was so angry with them! So I just smiled and screamed and then the blue guy
just laughed at me and i told him i owed him HUGE time!
Well we told him we
were going back to our seats so he was like ok, thats fine, and we walked
back to our seats and then saw almost the rest of the concert. We decided to
go to the bathroom and I came out of the stall to wash my hands and then I
saw Lynn walk by! And I just zoomed out after her! And my friend was all like
WTF? LMao. She didn't know what I went after.
I called at lynn twice and she
slowly turned and looked at me and i whisper, you are mrs. harless right? and
she nodded and smiled and I was like omg, can I give you a hug? and she
laughed and nodded and then my friend came up and was like omg its lynn, but
didnt scream it loudly, and was like can i give u a hug too? and so she gave
lynn a hug, and then we told her how we knew trace and jenny his g/f and
she's like jenny is such an awesome girl.
Then mr. harless walked up and i go
is this mr. harless and she's like yes. and im like can i give u a hug too?
so he gave me and my friend a hug and then we told them bye and that we will
see them in august at san antonio. so after that we go back to our seats and
see blue guy there and he's like i have to go escort the guys to the busses
meet me on the other side of the stage, so we headed off over there and
waited for 15 minutes and he came out and was like here we're going to stay
in touch and so he gave us his info and we gave his ours. and then i go in
august can u get us soundcheck passes? and hes like yea sure ill put u two on
there and then i go can u get us front row? and hes like no i cant cause all
the radio stations get those before we can get our hands on them, but i can
get you VIP passes, and i was like your kiddin right? and hes like no its
more easier for me, and i was like isnt that meaning we can sit, go, and do
whatever throughout the whole time we are here? and he's like yep. and i just
looked at him, and hes like whaT? and im like i owe you so much! and my
friends all like whats going on? whats going on? lol. so i told her and we
just freaked and blue guy was laughing and i go what hotel are u at tonight
and hes like across the street and i go we'll try to call u we are right next
to it, so we said our goodbyes and left.
lol all i have to say is that the
guys put on a excellent show and i cant wait till august! omg it's gonna be
so much fun, and blue guy is totally awesome! so anyhow heres a pic, its alot
darker than its in the actual picture, but its a really good pic, and it
looks alot more better in the actual one, if you are interested in buying it,
or seeing my other pics to buy then contact me. as of right now i only have
24 pics, i am waiting till tuesday to get my other four roles. so email me
back if you are interested. on my really good pics like this one i am selling
it for 2.00-3.00 dollars. for 2 and for 5 it'll be 6.50 and all of it is =
S&H. for a whole role ill sale it at the price of 25.00$ + S&H well i hope
