| (Chrissy�s POV) *Ring�Ring�Ring* �Can you hold on for a second,� I asked the man who sat in front of me. �Hello?� �Chrissy,� JC said crying. �There has been an accident.� I didn�t know what to say. �Ac�Accident,� I asked. �What kind of accident?� �The girl�s are�m�missing,� JC said. �You have to go to Crystal�s right away. We will meet you there.� I hung up the phone and burst into tears. I didn�t know what to do or how to act and I was supposed to be somebody who knew how to do that. �I�m so sorry,� The man said. �Are you okay?� �No,� I said. �My little girl is missing.� �I�m so sorry,� He said. �I hope you find her.� �Thank you,� I said. �I hope I do too. I am so sorry to have to make you leave, but I have to leave.� �It�s fine,� The man said. �I will call you in about a week. Good luck.� I put a note on the door. Dear Patients, I am so sorry for not being here for your scheduled appointment, but my little girl is missing and I have to go find her. I will call you as soon as possible to reschedule. Dr. Chrissy Kirkpatrick I drove frantically to get to Crystal and Lance�s. I couldn�t think of anything except some memories that I had of Chris, Danielle and I at the beach when we all went on vacation. *~*Flashback*~* �Chrissy,� Crystal said as she knocked on the door of mine and Chris� hotel room. �Justin, Joey, Lance and I are going to the beach. Wanna come?� �Sure,� I said. �Hold on. I will get Danielle and Chris.� Crystal sat down on the chair by the door waiting for me to come out of the bathroom with Chris and Danielle. Danielle was only about 1 and a half. I put a different diaper her and Chris followed me out. �Let�s go,� Joey said. �I am so hot and there are some fine looking ladies out there without their tops on.� �Joey,� Crystal said. �That is so gross. I can�t believe you. You are so male!� �Yeah,� I exclaimed. �That is just so typical!� �I would look at only you,� Chris said as he gave me a kiss and hug. �I love staring at you and only you.� �Where is Lance,� Justin asked. �And JC too?� �JC is sleeping. Lance is watching Stephanie,� Crystal said. �She was up all night sick.� We walked out of the hotel and down to the water. We placed our beach towels down on the white sand and walked into the water. Chris and I walked hand in hand, Chris carrying Danielle. She had so much fun. *~*End Flashback*~* I remembered it like it was yesterday. I couldn�t help but cry as I drove along. I pulled into Crystal and Lance�s driveway. Police vehicles surrounding the premises. I jumped out of my car and made a B-line for the front door. (Lance�s POV) I couldn�t believe her. She wasn�t watching them. 2 kids are missing, and it�s my wife�s fault. �Crystal,� I said standing up making everybody in the room quiet down. �It�s our fault, you did this.� �Lance,� An officer said. �She didn�t do this on purpose. Sit down and relax.� �That was the last thing that I could do. Relax, easy for them to say.� I was so angry I thought I was going to just scream and scream until I woke up from this hellish nightmare. �Lance,� JC asked. �Are you going to be okay? You look like if we leave you and Crystal alone, that you are going to kill her.� �I want to,� I said glaring at her. �I just am so mad that she wasn�t watching them.� �Lance did you happen to think that there were 4 kids here, a house to take care of, and other things to do,� Chris asked getting angry. �She is only human. She had no idea that the girl�s were going to get taken away. If she did, do you think she would have let them go outside at all?� �No,� I said. �I�m just angry.� �So am I,� Chris said. �I am so upset, but I don�t blame her.� |
