| Soul Mates Chapter 1 � 8:47pm December 10, 2000 (Nobody�s POV) Snow was falling outside the large glass doors. Crystal was sitting on the couch next to her long time friend Chrissy. �Want some more soda,� Chrissy asked. �I am going to see what the heck those guys are doing in there.� �No thanks,� Crystal said positioning herself on the large black couch. Crystal had always been mesmerized by the snow. �It�s really coming down out there.� �Babe, you okay,� Justin Timberlake asked as he walked in the front door with a hat and gloves on, accompanied by a large winter jacket and a scarf. �You don�t look so good right now.� Crystal shook her head continuing to look at the snow falling heavily. All she wanted was the ability to figure out which one she wanted to be with. �Hey baby,� Lance said walking into the living room with a cup of coffee. �Hey Justin, what�s up?� �Nothing much,� Justin said. �I was just going to ask if anybody wanted to go out and make some snow people with me.� �Snow people,� Crystal laughed. �What is this? Politically Correct? Since when did you call them snow people?� �Since I want to make a girl with boobs,� Justin said laughing. �Lance here wants to make her a mate.� �You do know it�s almost 9 at night,� Chrissy asked as Chris Kirkpatrick carried her through the kitchen door. �I want to snuggle up with Chris on the couch, so get up! Lance, Crystal, move it!� �I could use a walk,� Lance said. �Want to go for a walk, Justin? We can build the snow lovers tomorrow morning. After all, it will be a Saturday.� �Okay,� Justin said. �Anybody want to join us?� �No,� Crystal said. �I�m going to go take a shower. I have a lot to think about. My mind is having a blonde moment.� Lance and Justin bundled up as they watched Crystal slowly walk up the stairs towards her room. Living together with 5 guys and 2 girls in the house made for some interesting conversations. Both men wanted to be with Crystal. Neither knew right now who would actually get to be on her right arm. Joey Fatone and JC Chasez walked into the door dragging a large pine tree behind them. �Merry Christmas,� Joey said. �Look what the dog here in front of me dragged in.� �Shut up man,� JC said. �You picked the damn thing out. All I did was pay for it. By the way everybody owes me.... 5 bucks.� �You paid 35 dollars for a Christmas tree,� Justin asked. �That�s stupid.� Justin and Lance walked out the door and down the driveway toward the road. The normal path that they walked took about 15 minutes to walk. �What are you going to try to do to convince Crystal to be with you,� Lance asked Justin, breaking the silence of the wind. �I have to get some ideas.� �I�m not going to do anything unless you do,� Justin said. �I think I should just give her room to breathe. The break up with JC left her pretty upset.� �Well wouldn�t you be upset if you found out your girlfriend was dating your best friend while you were still together,� Lance questioned. �I would be so mad that I would kill somebody, or myself.� Justin rolled his eyes and shot Lance a strange look. �Maybe dinner and a movie wouldn�t be such a bad idea.� Chapter 2 � 5:18pm December 11, 2000 � The Next Night Crystal walked down the stairs in a pair of blue jeans and a blue sweater. She was going out with Justin for the night. Maybe it would help take her mind off Chris and Chrissy kissing in the corner. Maybe it would help to make up her mind too. �Ready to go,� Justin asked walking in from the kitchen. �You look very nice tonight.� �Thank you,� Crystal said throwing a pillow at Chris and Chrissy. �See you later tonight. Tell Lance I said good night.� �Okay,� Chris said breaking the kiss for a total of like 2 seconds. �Have fun.� �I�m sure I will,� Crystal said taking Justin�s hand. �See ya and don�t wait up, Chrissy. You know I hate that!� Crystal and Justin walked out the door. �Where is Crystal,� JC asked. �I really need to talk to her. It�s important.� �She just left with Justin,� Chris said. �What�s so big that you need to talk to her about?� �Justin went out with her tonight for an excuse to see Britney,� JC said. �He is going to leave Crystal somewhere and go with Brit.� �I don�t even know where they were going,� Chrissy said. �Do you know, JC? Maybe we could follow them.� �No, I have no idea,� JC said. �I only know this because Britney left a message in my mail box thinking it was Justin�s.� �You mean the family thing on the answering machine,� Chris asked. �I can�t figure out how they know that each of us have a separate memory bank.� �Cause they are smarter then you,� Joey said walking into the living room with a bowl of salad and a glass of apple juice. �Duh Chris!� Chris glared at Joey with a cold hard daze. �Well all we can do is just to wait until she calls or comes home,� Chrissy said. �She is going to be so mad.� �I�m going to see if I can find a lock,� Joey said. �Last time something happened with her and one for the other guys, she threw all his clothes out the window� and it was raining.� �You�re just mad that it was you, Joey,� JC said laughing with Chris and Chrissy. �Ha Ha.� |
