*Well it's not far down to paradise
At least not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
And find tranquility
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Baby believe me*

She looked over the ocean, still unable to believe she was here. She was
actually here. On her ship. The ship she'd always dreamed of. She looked down
at the wooden planks and ran her bare foot over it gently. It was 2 am, so no
one was out except her. She had the ship all to herself, alone with her
thoughts.
She walked along the deck, letting her hair down and letting the wind
snap it gently around her face. Her silky robe flowing gently behind her as
she walked, her bare feet making the smallest tapping as they moved across
the wood. She could hear the waves moving agaisnt the ships side and she
pictured how beautiful they must look.

*It's not far to Never-Never Land
No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy
Of innocence again
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Baby believe me*

She wrapped her arms around her, but not for warmth. She could feel him
all around her now. His arms running gently over her stomach, his chin
resting peacefully on her shoulder as he watched the stars with her. She
could feel his breath agaisnt her neck  as he'd smile brightly. Her body
began to sway softly to a beat heard only by her. She could feel his body
move with hers. She closed her eyes and pictured him, holding her and softly
singing into her ear. She was at peace.

*Sailing takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and a wind to carry me
Soon I will be free*

She began to move again, walking slowly over to the rail on the port
side. She ran her hands hesitantly over the cold mental before wrapping her
fingers tightly around it. She let the salty breeze run over her face,
caressing it.  Her eyes watched where the water and sky met, as far as her
eyes and the dark would let her see. She could see ever star in the sky that
night. His star.

*Fantasy
It gets the best of me
When I'm sailing (sailing)
All the world in a reverie
Every word is a symphony
Won't you believe me?*

She could feel every inch of her body at this point. Every place his
smooth fingers had touched her so softly. His fingers running over the curve
of her neck and up to her cheek before he would run them over her bottom lip.
The way he dug his fingers into her hair as he'd kiss her. His hand on the
small of her back, pulling her closer to him, inside him, in every way. The
way he'd promise he'd never let go.

*Sailing takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and a wind to carry me
Soon I will be free....
Soon I will be free....*

His smooth voice and the way his lips would tickle her ear as he
whipsered to her. The way his skin felt under her fingers, so baby soft. So
untouched by the world around him. She walked around to the stair case on the
deck, leading to a small walk way above the deck. She trailed her hand
agaisnt the rail, feeling it rough texture against her palm. She sat down and
placed her legs between the bars, letting them dangle over the edge.  If only
he was here with her right now. Why did she have to share their dream alone?

*It's not far back to sanity
At least it's not for me
And if he wind is right you can sail away
And find serenity
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Baby, believe me*

She moved to stand up, grabbing the rail and yanking herself up. She was
ready to turn and walk away, the memory and joy broken, but she stopped. One
star was shining down on her, and she saw it. So bright, and she saw him
again. She was wrong, she wasn't sharing their dream alone. He was with her,
and he was watching her.
She smiled to herself and stepped up onto the second step of the rail,
her toes slightly curling at the coolness of it. Balancing herself,  she
removed her hands from the rail. Letting the breeze sweep over her face, she
closed her eyes, spread her arms wide beside her and let him lead her through
their dreams once again.

*Sailing takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and a wind to carry me
Soon I will be free
Soon I will be free*
