| ?I knew I smelled a rat,? Ethan growled. He came down the stairs to the landing where the front door was. His eyes looked red and glossed over with anger and Justin knew he was drunk? again. ?I?m going to kill you if you don?t get off my property right now.? ?I?m not leaving until Lynn tell me she wants me to, or until she comes with me,? Justin said. ?Back off, Ethan!? ?Ooo,? Ethan said bringing his hands up in the air and shaking them as if he were scared. He gave a sinister laugh and dropped his glass beer bottle on the floor. He reached over to pick it up and Justin quickly reached over and gave him a good punch to the gut. Ethan again dropped his bottle. Justin saw this to be a good time to grab Crystal?s arm and head for his car so that they could get out of there as fast as they could. He ran holding tightly onto Crystal?s arm. Rain started to pour harder and lighting struck off in the east. Thunder clapped over head and Crystal looked up into the heavens wondering why this was all happening to her. She pried Justin?s hand off her and dashed to the passenger?s side of the car. ?Justin, hurry up,? Crystal said pounding her feet on the ground. She was scared for her life. ?The damn doors are locked and he?s getting up.? Crystal watched as Ethan?s eyes became more raged as he stood up to see the scene unfolding before him. He grabbed the beer bottle and smashed it against the door frame and tried to run over to Crystal and Justin. ?Come On,? Justin thought trying to calm himself down enough to get the keys into the door. His hands were shaking uncontrollably. He looked up and saw Ethan staggering towards them. ?JUSTIN,? Crystal screamed. The keys went into the lock and he quickly turned them and ripped them out as Ethan reached the hood of the car. His beer bottle top was jagged and it dripped with water like IV fluid into the line. Crystal shut her door and watched as Justin shoved the key into the ignition and turned it, starting the car. He threw it into reverse. ?Crystal,? Ethan screamed. ?GET OUT!? He was at Crystal?s window. He brought his fist up to strike her window to try to break it. Justin slammed his foot down on the gas pedal and peeled backwards throwing his and Crystal?s heads forward and then as he stopped the car, their heads crashed into the head rest. Ethan fell flat on his face and down onto the bottle top. ?Justin,? Crystal said shaking. ?Call 911!? Justin handed Crystal the cell phone. ?You okay,?
