"How many people here tonight are in love?" JC asked as he perched himself up on a stool. The screams were deafening and the guys chuckled in their own ways. "Well...I know a young lady that is here...wants to wish a Mr. Bass a very happy birthday..." JC said smiling at the crowd and laughing slightly as the screaming grew louder. JC and Chris had heard about the whole idea when Wade was going over a step in Pop that Lance was coming in half a second late to. The music to Someone Like You began being played by the band. Lance looked around in pure confusion as Tami stepped out of the curtain already having been through hair, make-up, and wardrobe. She brought the microphone she held up to her mouth, and in a voice beautiful enough to give her a run for teen princess status, sang out the most beautiful ballad ever written. "So many times I thought I held it in my hands, But just like grains of sand Love slipped through my fingers. And so many nights, I asked the Lord above Please make me lucky enough To find a love that lingers," Lance sat in shock. This wasn't happening...She didn't feel this way. "Something keeps telling me," Tami continued her walk until she was standing next to Lance and looking into his eyes as she sang. "That you could be my answered prayer You must be heaven sent I swear, cause..." she smiled as everyone except for Lance joined in. "Can't believe that you happened to me..." they finished before the entire audience burst in cheers and applause. "Guess God made me lucky enough..." Lance said embracing her tightly. "Both of us..."
