Changes

Chapter 1
Changes (Plural form of Change): 1a making or becoming different  b alteration or modification

"What are you doing?" Lance snapped.
"Nothing!" Justin jumped, pushing the notepad underneath the comforter.
"You have some issues man, you need to get ahold of who you are!" Lance grabbed him and started shaking him vigorously.
"Leave me alone!" He screamed as his strong hands flew up to Lance's chest and pushed him away with enough force to cause him to crash to the ground.
"What the Hell dude?! There is something seriously wrong with you! I was here for you and all you do is slam the freaking door in my face! Whatever, I give up on you." He hollored as he got up and exited the room.

Justin knew the next person to run in was Chris, who always wanted to help him with his problems. He was really good at that type of thing but he just didn't want to be with anyone right now, he didn't even want to be with himself, so he thanked Lance for slamming the door and twisted the lock.

He fell lax against the hard steal of the door. Something inside of him grabbed at him... that feeling. That feeling of complete loneliness, that aching burning that claws at your insides, its hands grabbing you tightly, squeezing until it chokes every bit of life out of you. That feeling he had ever so often... the only way he could explain it was dying.

A healthy twenty year old doesn't just start dying for no reason at all. It was a change, something he couldn't really understand himself, so of course, no one else could. He fought with everyone so much... He was lost, and he cried out into an empty room to be saved. So who possibly could save him?

It had happened before, when he was a mere teenager. But that was different, he was a man now, right? Or was it wrong? When you first come into the world... you see all that can be at your fingertips. You struggle to make it, to break free of the restrictions your parents have put on you... and there is no other way to explain it than coming into your own.

He already found his place in the world, he knew he had. So what the Hell was this? He let himself slide against the door until he was on the floor. He lifted his knees up and rested his crossed arms on them and finished the position off with his head on them. If he began to rock it would complete the whole stereotypical picture of the modern day lunatic.

But... he was normal, wasn't he? He had to be... he just did. Celebrities didn't have problems... they had love and money and... no problems. At least that's what everyone kept telling him. It was then, of course, his thoughts were interferred by the telephone... the damn telephone. Did that thing ever
stop ringing?

     "Hello?" His distressed voice answered.
"Hey sweetie," the soft voice said, "Do you know who this is?" She asked.
"No, wanna tell me?" He asked irritably. To be very honest he just picked up the phone to make the ringing stop, but it kept going in his ears anyways.
"It's Star." She finally replied."Oh... hey..."
"What's wrong with you?" She asked, getting a little bitter and her loveless response.
"Nothing, what do you need?" He answered with a question.
"Damn, I'm your fiance Justin! What do I need... Lord, what the fuck? I wanted to tell you your baby is developing well being you couldn't come to the damn appointment, you lazy ass." She snapped and hung up the phone.

He sighed deeply as he let the phone be craddled back into the hook. He was going to be a father... who knew his father could fall apart so much in just a few months? In all his wildest dreams he never thought that at twenty he'd be getting married and have a pregnant fiance. He never wanted it that way either... you make one mistake and everything comes tumbling down... 'ahh,' he thought, 'the Justin Timberlake story'.
