Section 1 - Purpose
1.1 The general purpose of the Department of Student Affairs shall be to:
1.1.1 Deal with problems on campus life brought to the attention of
the Senate and to suggest solutions to any such problems.
1.1.2 Publish a student phone directory at least once a year.
1.1.3 Provide Senate representation on the Traffic Appeals and
Traffic and Parking Committees.
1.1.4 To perform any other pertinent services not mentioned herein.
Section 2 - Committees
2.1 The Standing Committees under the Department of Student Affairs shall be the Residential Life Committee, Forum Committee, and the IM Oversight Committee.
2.1.1 The Residential Life Committee shall tackle student residential
problems on campus and make the Senate aware of such problems
and perform any other pertinent services not mentioned herein.
2.1.2 The Forum Committee shall plan and host at least two forums
during the semester in which students can voice concerns and
problems so that the Senate may satisfactorily be aware and be
able to act upon these issues and perform any other pertinent
services not mentioned herein.
2.1.3 The IM Oversight Committee shall be involved in the IM
building process, maintain communication with the IM once the
building has been completed to insure that it provides positive
student use and feedback, and perform any other pertinent services
not mentioned herein.
