Section 1.0 - Purpose
1.1 The general purpose of the Department of Academic Affairs shall be to:
1.1.1 Work with the University Vice-President of Academic Affairs
in areas concerning the core curriculum, instructor/course
evaluations, academic advising, registration, or other pertinent areas
not mentioned herein.
1.1.2 To provide SGA representation on all available University
Academic Committees.
Section 2.0 - Committees
2.1 The standing committees under the Department of Academic Affairs shall be the Lecture Series Committee, the Educational Programming Committee, and the Evaluation Committee.
2.1.1 The Lecture Series Committee shall serve to work with the
Distinguished Lecturer Series Committee when that Committee has
accumulated enough funds to begin the selection of a guest lecturer
2.1.2 The Educational Programming Committee shall serve to offer
student demanded academic subjects and perform any other pertinent
services not mentioned herein.
2.1.3 The Evaluation Committee shall serve to continually review
student teacher evaluations and perform any other pertinent services
not mentioned herein.
