| Getting Started |
| Have a parent meeting: Collect completed registration forms Collect dues and registration money Recruit parent helpers for troop job duties such as Calendar / Nut Mom or Cookie Mom, snack mom, call mom, etc... Plan a first meeting Use your "first 5 meetings hand out to set-up activities until you take your basic training class. Have an investiture or rededication ceremony You can get ideas from your handbook, a GSUSA Ceramonies book, or seek help from other leaders, NSUD, or online. |

| Attend Monthly Leader Meetings |
| Please make sure to come to gather vital information and turn in required documents. If the leader cannot attend, the co-leader should come in her place. If Co-leader is not available, please recruit a parent to come as a troop representitive. |
| Attend Neighborhood, & Cluster Events |
| These are events planned for you that ease your stress about planning outings. Usually, any first aider or OPF needs are covered and Saftey Wise standards are provided for. Attendance is not mandatory but please offer the chance for girls to attend. |

| Our Council offers many, many programs that may benefit your troop. Look through the book to discover planned scout events open to all in the Council. |
| Neighborhood Resource Boxes Available Our neighborhood has a library of books available to loan. Please check the list on the resource page. |
