The next several pages will take you step by step, turn by turn, through the entire 11 miles of road around Tantalus.

Also note that in many sections, the gear selections may seem a little high. I am doing a lot of short shifting here, where normally I'd keep it in a lower gear with higher revs. Traction isn't ideal on this road, especially in the places where it is always damp or there is always moss. My short shifting here is mostly to soften the torque during acceleration in these poor traction areas. For reference, my gearing is -1 on the front sprocket on an otherwise stock 900RR.
