THE BOYS
Skipper, Caucasian, age (8) and Luke (10) are cousins. Luke is self-conscious about being dyslexic. Skipper helps his older cousin Luke with reading. Luke wants to be a teacher and is determined to overcome his handicap in reading. The boy's relationship is close knit. Skipper loves Science, Art and Rockets. Skipper's dream is to travel through space and ladn on the Moon when he "gets grown."
Satchel is African American and smart as a whip. Satchel is the first to tell you he was named after the great baseball player, Satchel Paige, his father's idol. Satchel's goal is to be a professional ball player. If your looking for Satchel, the first place to look is on the school's baseball field where he plays catch ball with his Dad.
Young Chen is Asian. Young is learning to play the violin. While Young is a whiz in math, he is not gifted with strings. Young's never going to give up drive will win the toughest critic over. Young Chen fantasizes about performing in Carnegie Hall or at the very least, in the NSPTM school auditorium.
Jacob is Jewish. His friends call him Jake. Jake's family recently moved to Nonesuch PlaceTM from the city. Jake's father is the new manager of NSPTM Community Bank adn wanted the simple life for his family. Jacke's dad crated the "Kids Kitty"TM account to teach children the importance of saving money. Jacob is class treasurer adn is teaching the boys how to invest in penny stocks.
