His laughter can be heard after hour in the library when observers remain silent. Rumor has it he leaped from his office window on the third floor of the building, falling to his death. - The Moorpark Melodrama has had its share of ghostly activity; apparitions have been seen in the lighting booth when no one was present upstairs, footsteps and laughter can be heard from the rafters and dressing rooms, cold spots are felt throughout the building. - Old Moorpark Road is notorious for a stretch of road in which the ghostly apparitons of individuals slaughtered in a horrific automobile accident push idle cars up a slight embankment, out of the way of what used to be the intersection where their car was hit by a speeding driver, for no apparent reason.
