Defence against the Dark Arts
To me, what really mattars isn't how well a student can deal with dark creatures or curses, but the student's attitude. If a student does his homework regularly, comes to lessons, and is respectful, he is guarenteed to get a good mark. Students must be respectful - to me and to the other students. Disrespect will not be tolerated and will cause a deduction from the final course mark.

Students must do their homework and turn it in on time. There will be a homework assignment every two weeks. The students will have to turn the homework in before the next class. Two weeks is enough time, even for busy students! Students that don't do their homework will cause points to be deducted from their house or get detention.

Some lessons will take place in the classroom (chat room). Students are expected to show up. I will give you at least a week's notice. If a student can't come, he/she must notify me. I will post the transcript of what happened in the chat room in "Current Lesson" so students who couldn't come will be updated and be able to do their homework.

There will be a test once in a while. I will give a outline of what is in the test.  Students can use the lessons archive to study for tests and for the final exam.

Plagiarised assignments will recieve a zero, and students may be suspended for plagiarism or cheating.

I will contact students' head of house regarding excellent or poor progress in the course.
