Sky Diving in SA

© Neal Soutter

The first three jumps of the AFF course are done with two instuctors holding on to me. On jump two one of the tasks you have to do is a delta. Exiting the plane with one instructor. Me making sure my chute is opening. Tumble exit. Trying to get stable. Just falling to the ground at about 220 kph. Opening upside down, not the best idea! After my first free fall with two instructors, the canopy is open and I am heading for the ground at a reasonable speed. Me safely on the ground. Roy, after his first jump. Walking out to the plane with the two instructors giving a final briefing on the jump. Carlo, and his new shades. Rhino’s bathing (taken through binoculars). Elephant taking a dip (taken through binoculars). Our accommodation in the Pillanesberg. At the Lion Park in Lanceria. Me with a four month old cub. Witbank Sky Diving Club. Me and Ethan Ford.
