The youth group of Ancaster\Alberton Independant Christian Reformed Church held their Christmas party, on the now memorable date of December 11, 2002. The members of the youth group( those who were in good health), as well any honored guests, were requested to arrive at the Armadillo Steak House in Burlington at 6: 50. The majority of those attendin this magnificent event arrived with out trouble, though its been said that it was a little slippery......................:) no comment :o
After a delcious meal, we continued the night at the lovely habitation of the ever hospitable VanOlsts. With candy and snacks in hand, it was games our lives we next thrown into.( gettin sick of this yet) MWHAHAAHA
The first game which we endevored to play was a drawin game. We were each given 2 sheets of paper. On the first sheet we were instructed to write the numbers 1-13( perhaps this is merely coincidental but this was also the number of ppl that attended our wonderful gathering) Then we picked names out of a hat. Who evers name we had, that was whom we had to draw. I had Byron. Byron grew a moustache and a gotee. If you will take the time to view the beutiful artwork to your left you will see the artistic musings of Mr Knor (aka the Youth Elder). That was a easy one to guess. Unfortunatly the remainder of us are not quite so artistically gifted. :D
Finally we exchanged gag gifts, some of which were rediculous, unusually, sweet, and just plain wierd. Ya but i got a laser, skittles, and a cup with candy. SCORE!!!!!!!!!!
