Bonavista, Newfoundland
Bonavista is a small town on the east coast of Newfoundland. Though its a small town, it's very historic and there are lots of things to see here. Drop by for a visit!!
This is the town of Bonavista. These pictures show close to all of the town.
This is a statue of John Cabot found at Cape Bonavista.
This is the Cape Bonavista Lighthouse, found at Cape Bonavista. This is a Provincial Historic Site. This is the replica of the Matthew, the ship of John Cabot. It is found next to the Matthew Legacy Building in Bonavista Harbour.
This is the town's water tower which is also where you find the White Rock Murals.
This is a picture of the cliffs and ocean, taken at Cape Bonavista. This is the Orange Hall.
This is the old train found by the T.K. Kelloway Center.
This is the town's Court House, it is still in use today.
This is the town's Public Library and war monument.
This is the Post Office. You can also see sidewalks and benches along Church Street which was part of the townscape plan.

Crab pots and lobster pots. This is a common sight throughout the town.
Lobster pots by the side of the ocean. The fence behind is what we call "cribbing" and the ocean is directly behind it.
