HOW IT WORKS:
The chapter mileage program runs from April to October every year. Members register their starting mileages at the April meeting and their closing mileages at the October meeting. In 2005 fifty members registered but only forty-one of those members completed the program by registering their ending mileage. In 2006 fifty-one members registered and forty completed the program.

Each member that registers in the program receives 100 HOG Bucks just for registering. An additional 100 HOG Bucks for every 1,000 km a rider accumulates is awarded provided they register their ending mileage by the October deadline. Passengers are eligible to receive HOG Bucks for accumulated mileage but are not eligible to win the grand prize.

In 2005 the top mileage winner in both the men's and women's category received a new OEM tire. In 2006 the winners received a complete engine, primary and transmission fluid change including oil filter, tax and labour. This year JH Stewart's will set up an account in both winner's name and issue them a credit that they can use towards the purchase of accessories, parts clothing or service! The amount of the credit is yet to be determined by the dealer.

So how do you get in on this deal? Well let me tell you. Register your starting mileage at the meeting in April or anytime after that. Of course, registering in April gives you a better chance of winning. In October register your ending mileage no later than at the monthly meeting. It's that easy! You can register your mileage by either attending a meeting or by calling one of the three chapter Road Captains to record your mileage. Garry D. will take your mileage in the Dalhousie area, Dan D. in the Petit Rocher area and Derek L. in the Miramichi area. They will gladly arrange to meet you somewhere to record your mileage. Even if you don't win the grand prize you will earn HOG Bucks that you can spend on some really nice prizes at the HOG Bucks auction which is held every year at the chapter Christmas Party. Keep those wheels a rollin!
