March Book Boogie

March 5, 2004 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Grades Pre-K thru 5th

The annual event will have many activities to celebrate not only Reading but also Dr. Seuss’ birthday. There will be a costume contest (students dress as their favorite book character), book walk, movies, face painting, bookmark making, dancing, book swap, dance (grades 3-5) and much more. Concession stand available.

Remember: Too bring a book for the swap. Admission is: $1 per child, Adults are Free.

Donations: We are also taking donations of children’s books for the book walk. We would like to get as many children books to cut costs as possible. Please make sure they are in good condition. Thank you so much for all your help with this event!

Next PTO Meeting

Scheduled for: February 19th, 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

Planning Ahead

Please start saving your plastic grocery bags (I.e. Wal-mart, Piggly)

 We will need these for the spring festival. Thanks!

Current Fundraiser

NSE license plate tags are for sale for $2.50 each. You can buy one in the office, at the meeting, or any PTO event. You can also send in an envelope with your child’s name, teacher, number of tags you want, and the correct amount enclosed. Make checks payable to NSE PTO. You may also send in cash. The tag looks like the ones at the top of this newsletter. Show your Trojan Pride!
