Under Opinions in the Mine Creek Revelations by Louie Graves:

NOTICED.
At Leopard Stadium last week there were no home team banners mentioning "the stick," which is the traveling trophy initiated three years ago by the hometown newspapers of the Leopards and the Scrappers.
Nashville has now won The Saline River Walking Stick all three times, and by wide margins.  Enthusiasm for the trophy could be on the wane in the Sevier County seat.
Also noticed: by halftime when the score was 28-0, some of the Leopard faithful had already left for home.
There was no band controversy this year.  You may remember the last time the game was played at De Queen some Leopard band boosters were irate at what they thought was a dirty trick by the Scrapper band.  They thought that Nashville had used more than its share of the time alloted for halftime shows.
That year the Leopard band turned around and went back into the stands, believing that they did not have enough time to do their show.
This time, the Scrapper band performed up until the last few seconds of their alloted time, then they just nonchalantly walked off on the visitors' side of the field.  Pretty cool, I though.
