| A band clinic was held on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003. Mr. Robert Hesse from OBU, former Hope Superband director, taught the clinic on marching techniques. "When you watch a band what is the thing you notice the most?" That was the first question he asked the band to start his clinic. He also touched on concentration/attitude, backwards marching, posture, sideways marching, marking time, flex and 1, where your rib cage should be, and a lot more. The band really got a lot out of it and was pleased to have Mr. Hesse. |
