The Nova
Scotia International Tattoo is a world class event and as such it demands that
the performing acts are of the highest possible caliber. Cadets who tryout for
membership on the Display Team must expect to meet a high standard of Dress,
Drill and Deportment, have a positive attitude, be self motivated, hard working
and handle stress. |

The Drill Movements that cadets will be evaluated on include:
In evaluating cadets, Display Team staff will be looking for not only how sharply a drill movement is executed, but also how properly a drill movement is carried out. Cadets who constantly move and look around will not be considered for participation. It should be noted that the arms will be swung waist high (as per the CFP 201) when marching in quick time. Unfortunately a number of cadet units still insist that cadets march shoulder high. This is not proper and not acceptable for a group in a show of the caliber of the Nova Scotia International Tattoo.
