FAQ and Contact Us
ADMINISTRATION: Cadets whose ID Cards expire in FEB/MAR/APR should see the Administrative Officer with their fee for renewal.  Fee for Sea Cadets is $40.00 and League Cadets is $30.00. Cadets with expired ID Cards are not covered by our insurance and may not stay for drill unless the renewal fee is paid.  Cards should be renewed one month prior to expiration.  If you do not have an ID card yet, use the POD as proof of enrollment for the front gate.
E-MAIL: Please be sure to give your e-mail address or one for a parent to the Admin Officer.  We can e-mail PODs and other changes to drill schedule or training offers that we arrange.  This is the fastest way for communication.  Notices can be received by everyone, PODs require Microsoft WORD.  We do not have very many on our list.  Make this a priority.
SUMMER TRAINING:  Applications will soon be ready when the summer training schedule comes out.  Cadets who have not finished the BMR after Boot Camp and been promoted to E-2 may not apply for an advanced training.  If you have not finished the BMR hand the remaining assignments in NOW!!!!!
DRILL DATES: The next scheduled drill is March 29th and 30th.

NAWC NEWS
SECURITY: Because of tight security on the base, all cadets will be required to have their ID Cards on them at all times.  Parents should have some type of an ID card (Photo preferred) and all required automobile registration information.
ATTENDANCE: Cadets who are not able to attend drill MUST call the Sea Cadet office PRIOR to drill.   Cadets are reminded that 75% drill attendance is required.   Absentees may be disenrolled at the discretion of the Commanding Officer.
CPR TRAINING:The Naval Base EMTs and an officer from the Manchester Township EMT Squad will be conducting CPR training for Sea Cadets in the classroom.  League Cadets will be instructed in First Aid at the Branch medical Clinic.
ONE DAY DRILL: Due to the Army National Guard being on board this weekend for mandatory training, there are no berthing spaces available in the barracks.  Active military take precedence for barracks space therefore, our drill will be Saturday only.  There are no other overnight weekends available to us before the March drill so we cannot schedule another drill in between.  This means that this Saturday is the only day we will have to do our preparation for the March annual inspection.  Supply will be open for the day on Saturday and cadets will be serviced throughout the day individually.  It is imperative that all cadets attend this drill.  Report in your dress blues.  If you do not have dress blues or they do not fit, report in utilities and be sure you have your ID or a copy of this POD to enter the base.  If you do not have utilities, report in civilian clothes.  If you are reporting in dress blues, then bring your utilities with you to change after inspection and approval of your dress uniform.  REPORT TO THE OFFICE NOT THE BARRACKS!!!
INCLEMENT WEATHER: In case of inclement weather local cadets should listen for base closure on WOBM FM, 92.7 or 101.5.  Out of area cadets should call the hotline at 732-323-SNOW, local cadets may use this also.
