- All present introduced themselves
- Ms Beazley explained that after a seven year hiatus the alumni association was started up again last April. The past year has been spent getting the association back up and running. Ms. Beazley informed all those present that the association is officially a society again with the Registry of Joint Stock and all outstanding dues have been paid.
- Ms Beazley introduced the members of the current executive, herself as President, Maggi Holm as Vice President, Gayle Chapman as Secretary/Treasurer and Scott MacMillan and Fred Wendt as members at large.
- The executive has been working throughout the year mainly on this reunion but have also spent a great deal of time in updating and ensuring the quality of alumni list.
- The executive have also set up a hotmail account [email protected] and a web page at www.geocities.com/nscadepalumni. The plan is to continue to improve and update the information on the web page.
- The executive has also posted information on the API web site in an attempt to reach more graduates. The association has also worked with the current faculty to produce newsletters sent to both alumni and current students.
-Ms Beazley also announced the appointment of our student representative Carla Slaunwhite.
