August 01: (right) EuroSwitzerland, the newly independent former Soviet republic, confessed that the USSR "left" a lot of high-tech weaponry in their territory, which they happily inherit.

August 05: Twenty seven terrorists, members of the True Adnagu Nation (TAN) are killed by the government of Adnagu. The men were in possession of uranium which they were trying to smuggle out of the country (right). Leaders fear the network may have smuggled more uranium previously to terrorist groups which can enrich the uranium for nuclear weapons.

August 27: Djiboutian States' government-run newspaper reveals that the state is developing a nuclear program and an intrudor has attempted to gain access to this program.
