| First, I clicked "chat central" on the top page of "Dave's ESL cafe" and I typed my name and password. I could enter the room. I had a little chat with Eric on the Internet. This was first time for me to chat with a foreigner. Eric spoke to me freely. I asked him about his native country. To my surprise, he is Australian. |
| I'm going to visit Australia on January so this was a pleasant surprise. |
| By the way, I will go to Australia with my friends. Out trip will be eight days.. We are now planning what we will do during our travels. This casual meeting with Eric was a chance in a million to help us with our plans. |

He told me about Australian broadcasting. He advised me to my join to a community course in Australia, because his friend did one course, a few months ago. What's more, he told me to try to for search a radio station that does online courses. Regrettably, I'm only going there for eight days. But when I go to Australia, I'm going to listen and watch the Australian TV and radio!! |

For example, grammar, geography, history, people, science, etc. I chose the world culture quiz of ESL cafe, because, I'm studying intercultural communication in this university. I like learning about cultures all over the world. This quiz contents weren't what learned in my university, but I could answer some questions. Probably, what I saw in movies in the past helped me. For example in the following sample question,I could guess the answer from what I had seen in American movies. |
