DEFUSING
THE ASTRAL MEDIUM Morris
A Bradley In these last
days when so many people have become truth seekers and looking beyond
themselves for guidance, the astral mediums that offer their services to the multitudes
through different group endeavours can be a real thorn in the side. As well
as their being up the garden path or in cuckoo land they tend to lead the
honest seekers away with them. So what can be done? Here is our answer to
this problem for those sincere people who want to help the cause of the
'White Brotherhood'. Do we have the
right to try and prevent others from being involved with this lower-self
activity? In other articles we have written I stated that we believe that at
least 80% of people who indulge in the use of psychic phenomena come under
the heading of astral mediums. Most of this group are very sincere in their
efforts but are deluded and entrapped owing to a misunderstanding of the
'gift' and because the Higher Self (cosmic mediumship)
can only be developed with extensive spiritual education and pursuits. We feel these
people, though sincere, are spiritually sick and need our prayers in the same
manner as if they were physically sick. We are our brother's keeper and
therefore it is our responsibility to pray for their upliftment
and freedom from the wily ones who lay in wait for the gullible. If people
have unwittingly and unconsciously moved away from the light of God, then it
is our moral and Christian responsibility to help them in any way we can to
emerge from the darkness so they can once more feel the breath of the Christ
Light. The confusion often starts in the mind of the individual who gradually realises that they have a special gift from God, so they think, and they do, indirectly. However this so-called gift is their right of inheritance from their past lives, their karmic gift, and not actually associated with anything accomplished in this present incarnation. As the person's spiritual demeanour improves in the current lifetime then the 'gift' can be fine tuned and be dominated by the Holy Spirit of Jehovah. It is important to note that clairvoyance does not indicate spirituality. |
