A/N- Thanks for everyone that reviewed! You know how long it been since someone actually reviewed my stuff and it wasn't a friend. I wasn't going to put this chapter up until I finished writing the whole story, but you guys wanted it. And btw, this is shorter than the first chapter.

"They coming from the west," Jack thought to himself as he stood in the middle of an empty street of a long abandoned city. The wind blew down the street pushing a tumbleweed with it and blowing his long blonde hair out of the loss ribbon it was in revealing his elf ears. He picked up his bow from the ground and took an arrow from its holder. He aimed it past the horizon farther than any human eye could see and fired straight between the eyes of a demon orc of a demon army that was heading his way. He repeated this until all his arrows were gone. He had at least a couple dozen and each didn't miss its target.

"That will slow them down for awhile," he said to himself as he put his bow away. He then whistled for his gallant white horse that came as he heard it.

"Good boy," he told the horse as he got on the horse and galloped off.

"One more to go," Jack told himself as he sat around a campfire in the middle of nowhere. He took out a pouch and poured out the contents onto the ground. Two round stones rolled out, a red one and a blue one. He looked at them as the reflection of the fire dancing in their metallic surface, " The elf stone is the only one left and that was taken by that demon when he took my sister's daughter."

He picked up the stones and placed them back in the pouch. He secured it to his belt and sat back down in a relaxed position. Slowly he fell asleep and slept until the sun rose from its hiding place. As he woke he felt a cold, sharp metal on his neck.

"You finally caught up to me," Jack said as he gentle pushed the sword on his neck away from him, "Did you think you could kill me?"

"Yes and I could. You are nothing to me," said the demon as he placed his sword back into its sheath.

"I mean everything to you."

"Give me the stones Jack."

"You will have to kill me."

"Then that is what I would do."

"Here's your target then," Jack replied as he ripped off his shirt and pointed to his heart where a red scar a shape of on x was, "Go ahead and try to kill me."

"I will," the demon replied as he took out his sword and thrashed it to the middle of the x but stop as the blade touch the skin. Drips of blood came from the little cut which the tip of the blade pierced.

"You can't do it."

"That's not it. I just want you to see our niece before you die. She as beautiful as my wife, you know."

"My sister was only your wife by name. It was your brother she loved."

"And I hated him for that."

"You still lying to yourself after all this time. You and I know that it wasn't my sister you love."

"Shut up."

"But I speak the truth," Jack replied as he touch the cheek of the demon with his hand.

"Take your hand off me," he replied as he slapped it off, "I'll kill you later when you have all the stones."

"Till that day then."

"Bastard," the demon replied as he walked off and Jack burst with laughter from the comment. The demon gave a little smile when he heard the laughter and whisper to himself lightly, "That laugh will be the death of me, but I don't care. I love it so."

"Someone is coming from the west," Timmy said as he looked through a spyglass behind a crumbling wall.

"Is it a demon?" Nicky replied as he tried to see the approaching rider.

"No," Sara said as she sat against the wall.

"Then what?"

"It looks human to me," Timmy replied still looking through the eyeglass.

"It's an elf," Luna said as she looked at the rider with her elfish eyes.

"How do you know that?"

"Look at his ears."

"What? Dude! His ears are pointy."

"He'll be here in five minutes."

"Do you think he's a friend or a foe?" Nicky asked as he sat down next to his sister.

"I feel something familiar about him," Sara replied.

"Let what?"

"It feels like I meant him before."

"Where?"

"I don't know."

"You probably met in a different life, " Luna replied as she stared at the approaching elf.

"Yeah," Sara replied.

"Who goes there?" Timmy said to the elf.

"My name is Jack," he said as he got from his horse.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm passing through."

"Just passing through?" Nicky asked suspensively.

"It's really none of your business what I do."

"We are just trying to keep safe," Timmy replied.

"I understand. I'm just going to pass through that's it. My destination is the forest of time and death."

"And what business do you have there?" Luna replied as her hand moved to her sword.

"To see an old friend."

"An old friend?"

"More of an just someone I know than a friend. He's a lover's brother and he has something I want."

"What?"

"That is none of your business."

"Anything that deals with Damon is my business."

"So you know who he is then."

"Yes. He was a loyal soldier of my father and he raised me from birth."

"Damon was your father's closet friend, but also was his brother."

"And who are you to know such a fact?"

"Your uncle."

"My uncle? I don't have an uncle."

"Yes you do and three in a matter of fact. Damon, me, and I heard you meant your third one."

"That demon that attacked us was my uncle?"

"Yes. It's a long story though."

"Well I have the time."

"Fine but over some food. I haven't eaten anything for a couple of days."

"Okay, a trade for food for a story."

"It's a deal."

"Uh, what just happened?" Timmy asked Nicky.

"This and that. I'll explain it to you later," Nicky responded.

That afternoon Jack told Luna everything about her, her father, her uncles, and her mother. Then he told him about the stones and the towers. Luna listened to every word soaking it up and getting the facts straight in her head. She didn't get confused or mad at all about the story. She understood it all.

Luna and Jack were alone when he told her the story, but Sara was listening in. Something attracted her to Jack and she didn't know what. She felt deep down that they met once, but she couldn't think where.

"Sara get away from that door," Nicky said as he walked up to her, "You know better than to listening to other people conservation."

"But I want to know what they're talking about," Sara replied.

"Sara, Sara, Sara, you never change do you."

"But this is different from other times."

"How so?"

"I don't know but it is."

"Fine, fine, but don't come running to me when you're caught."

"I won't because I won't get caught."

"Sure you won't."

As soon as Nicky walked away, the door opened and Sara was caught.

"I see that someone was listening in on our conversation," Jack said as he looked down at Sara.

"Hi," she replied back trying to look innocent.

"Who's this?"

"This is Sara. I believe she's a seer," Luna replied.

"A seer you say?"

"Yes. She tells me about dreams she has."

"What kind of dreams?"

"Their full of death and demons," Sara replied, "And I can tell when they come."

"You're right. She is a seer. Can you feel anything now?" Jack said as he knelt down and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Yes. A lone demon is coming this way to get something."

"Do you know what?"

"No."

"Do you know who this demon is?"

"Yes."

"Who?"

"I don't know his name but he been here before. The last time he came with an army."

"Xavier is his name. He's your other uncle."

"I see," Luna said, "So that's the demon's name, Xavier. I should go out and met my uncle. What do you think?"

"He's here for me."

"Then we should go out together."

"I'm coming too," Sara said.

"Is that a good idea?" Jack replied.

"Of course," Luna replied.

M

"So I see you meant our niece," Xavier said as he rode up to Luna, Jack, and Sara who was waiting for him at the city limits.

"How could I not?" Jack replied as he got up from where he was sitting on a crumbled down wall. Then he pulled out a pouch, "I see you came here for these. I only have two you know."

"I know where the third one is. It's hanging around that beautiful neck," he said pointing at Luna.

"You mean this?" she replied as she took off the necklace that belonged to her mother.

"Now hand it over with the two you got Jack."

"I already told you that you would have to kill me to get them," Jack replied as he put the pouch away.

"Then that is what I'll do."

Xavier jumped down from the horse he was riding and took out his sword. Jack and Luna followed by taking out theirs.

"Luna put your sword away. This is my fight," Jack to hold. She gave a nod of her head in agreement and put her sword back into its sheath. Then she stepped back where Sara was watching them.

"I don't want to kill you," Xavier said, "So just give me the stones."

"So you finally admit that you don't want to kill me, but I'm not giving back the stones."

"Then you gave me no choice."

Xavier charged with his sword but Jack blocked it with his own sword.

"Don't use some amateur's tactics with me," Jack said as he pushed Xavier back with his sword.

Xavier pulled back his sword then thrush it forwards. Jack blocked it with his sword and then the real swordplay started to begin. With every moved each opponent made the other blocked. Luna closed her eyes and listened to the clash of the swords against each other. She knew what they were doing with just the sound of it. The image of them fighting was dancing in her head. Both were masters of the sword and it didn’t look like anyone was winning at any moment. But with one lucky move Xavier finished the fight. He thrush his sword into Jack's stomach which caught each at surprise.

"So you did have the courage to kill me after all," Jack said with a smile as he fell down to his knees.

"What have I done?" Xavier said as he pulled back his sword and saw what he had done. Emotions when through his body as he spread his wings and flown away towards the setting sun.

Sara and Luna quickly went to Jack's side. Luna carefully turned him over to see the damage. Blood soaked his shirt and the ground below.

"We have to heal him," Luna said, "Give me your hands.

"Okay," Sara said as she held out her hand. Luna grabbed them.

"Now believe with all your heart the words I'm about to say."

"I will."

"Great child of the moon heal this soul so he can see your beautiful face once more."

Dark light surrounded them and the wound Jack had closed up, but Jack was still knocked out.

"Why isn't he awakening?" Sara asked.

"The spell had to take some of his energy also," Luna replied, "but don't worry he's fine. He'll wake up in a day. You will have to help him recover to full strength, okay?"

"Okay!"

"I will help you take him home but then your brother and I will have to leave."

"Why?"

"I have to finish what he started."

"Okay."

"Good."
