Fate and the Full Moon
Written by Neo-Queen Terra of Crystal Tokyo
In the land of Moure, where the moon is never full, the demon warlord Nikolas's dark shadow grew greater and greater by ever passing day. Nothing could stop him and his massive army, but a great witch elf foretold that a child with the mark of the moon on her forehead will be born until the high elves and destroy the demon when the moon will finally be full. When Nikolas heard this, he proclaimed war until the elves, killing all he sees. It lasted for twenty long years and the elves finally became dispersed. The great high elf king gave his beautiful daughter in change for peace for his people. Nikolas agreed but never touch the princess. She was just a foolish little girl to him and he let her do whatever she wanted. His eyes were only on her lady-in-waiting, a simple elf maiden that served the princess all of her life. He took her as his mistress and kept her by his side at all times. But it wasn't long before destiny took it course. As the Nikolas' mistress became pregnant her power grew as the moon in the sky shone brighter each night so did the one on her forehead begin to show. One night fate finally decided to become true. The moon became full for the first time in the history of the land and it grew red with blood. Something came over the mistress as she took Nikolas' cursed knife and drove it straight into his bare chest. She took the bloody knife as she ran out of the room and a couple hours later, her daughter was born. The midwife took the child from her and went to kill it by fire, but a servant of the Nikolas stopped her and took the daughter of his lord with him. He went back to the mistress to get the knife back, but found her dead with the knife in her heart. He took the knife and the baby and fled into the forest of time and death where no one entered, even the unholy. He raised the half demon and half elf like she was his own, but he made sure she knew who she was, so he named her Luna Nicole. Time was slowed in the forest and when she was eighteen, 3,600 has pass in the land and a lot has changed, but everything in the forest stayed the same and the fear of the forest in the heart of all stayed the same over the many years. Only a few people wander in the woods, but they never found they way out and never seen the demon-elf. Until one day…
"Are you sure you want to do this?" said one of Nicky's friends.
"Of course. If someone dares me, I got to do it," he replied. He was eighteen years of age and his maturity showed it. He would do anything if some one dares him and sometimes he does it if nobody does.
"But nobody comes out of there alive."
"Then I will be the first too, but you can have my cd collection if I don't."
"Don't kid like that."
"Fine, fine. See you tomorrow morning," he said as he walked into the forest waving good-bye to his friends.
With the full moon shining low in night sky and his trusting flashlight that never let him down in his hand, he walk thorough the forest with confidence and ease. To find his way out, he tried a long rope around a tree trunk at the edge of forest and he would walk until the rope was at the end. When that happened he was not even close to the middle of the forest and he wanted to go farther. It was a great temptation beckoning him, but he didn't let if come over him. He stayed where the rope stopped and set up camp. He laid out the sleeping bag he brought allow and fell fast asleep, but he couldn't stay that way much longer. A hour after he went to bed, he awaken up by some noise in the forest and he felt like someone was watching him, so every five minutes after that he would get up and look around. He had a right to be cautious because the moon was high and the newly dead were walking to they finally resting-place. When the light of the dead broke thorough the trees, he quickly got up and went to see what it was. He was afraid and amazed of what he saw. As they went out of his vision, he saw a beautiful winged girl with fair white skin and long, curly, red hair. She were a simple white dress that showed off the curves of her body to her hip when then the shirt of the dress became full and fell unto the dirt ground making the hem of the dress very dirty. He thought he was looking at an angle, but in mere seconds found out he was dangerously wrong when he realized that a knife was flung at him, but missed him by a hair and landed in a tree behind him.
"Don't try to get away from your destiny dead soul," Luna said with a voice that to be fear, "All who walk thorough this forest will make their maker, so stop denying the fact that you are dead. Now soul show yourself or do you want me to drag you from your hiding place?"
"You don't have to do that," Nicky said as he walked until the path that the dead walked as the fear in him grew greatly.
"I smell blood in you," she said as she sniffed the air, "You aren't dead, are you?"
"The last time I check I wasn't, but I could be wrong."
"You aren't, but what are you doing here? If you're trying to get a love one, don't. It will just result in your death, because whoever touches the dead will become one."
"I'm not here to get anyone. In fact I didn't know that the dead went here after they become dead like."
"Then why are you here?"
"It was a dare."
"What is a dare?"
"Nothing."
"You better go back where you came from before you become what you have just saw because that what happens to everyone that comes into here."
"Will I would, but I'm kind of lost now after leaving my camp. In fact I don't know where my camp is."
"Oh, I will get in trouble with Damon for this, but come on."
"Where are you going to take me?"
"Home."
"And where is home?"
"A mile up the path."
"Wait, you live in the forest."
"All of my life."
"Just tell me one thing."
"What?"
"What is your name?"
"Luna, happy. Now shut-up and follow me."
Nicky did what he was told and followed her to a small gloomy looking one-story cottage that was directly in the middle of the woods. It looked like it was taken out fairy tale story and Nicky was surprise that a house like this still existed especially in the middle of this forest.
"Damon, I'm back," Luna said as she walked into the house. She walked into a room with a handmade table with two chairs that matched it and two that didn't. By it was a chimney with a big iron pot cooking delicious smelling soup over the fire and across from it was a makeshift sink with a shelf with all the dishes above it.
"Who's that, " said a tall demon that was young and handsome looking. His long white hair was tied loosely by a ribbon at the neck. The strands that fell out of the ponytail, he just tucked behind his ear. He was only wearing black pants, but was struggling to get his shirt on over his black wings.
"I found him in the forest, by the dead soul's path," she said as grabbed an apple from a small bowl on the table full with fruit and as she bit down in the fruit showing her bare fangs.
"What is your name lad?"
"Nicholas, but my friends call me Nicky," he replied. The apple from Luna's mouth dropped on the floor as she heard his name, "Did I say something wrong?"
"No," Damon said, "You’re probably hunger. Do you like rabbit?"
"I never had rabbit, so I wouldn't know."
"Luna can you please get a bowl."
"Okay," she said as she picked up her apple and wiped it off on her dressed. She went to the shelf and took a bowl and a spoon down. Then she placed it on the table.
Damon picked the bowl up and poured some of the soup from the pot on the fire with a ladle in to it. Then placed it back on the table.
"Sit and eat," he said as he sat down.
"Damon, I'm going to sleep," Luna said as she kissed his cheek. She entered into a doorway next to the sink and shut the door.
"I wish my sister can be that nice," Nicky said. Then he ate some of the soup.
"She's not my sister," Damon replied.
"So she's your girlfriend."
"Girlfriend?"
"You don't know what a girlfriend is."
"We are not from your world, but an ancient one. Things that are familiar to you aren't familiar to us and vice versa."
"Oh. How can I explain a girlfriend? Um… a lover?"
"She's not my lover. I'm her guardian. She simple shows affection towards me because I raised her since birth and I'm all she knows, but I'm not her father."
"You don't look old even to have raised her since birth."
"Demons don't age."
"You're a demon?"
"Yes and so is she. Actually half demon, her mother was an elf."
"I'm in a dream. Elves and demons don't exist. They are all myths and stories like that one story about the demon king."
"Nikolas."
"What?"
"The demon king's name was Nikolas and it's not a story. You just met his daughter."
"Okay. This is a dream," Nicky said as he got up from his chair and then he started pinching himself.
"What are you doing?"
"Trying to wake up."
"All you're doing is making your arm purple."
Nicky looked down as where he was pinching saw it was indeed purple and beginning to hurt.
"You need to rest. You can use my bed for tonight, but tomorrow you're going back home."
"I don't know how exactly to get home."
"Luna will show you the way. She knows this forest by heart and much better than me."
M
At dawn, the sun barely shone through the top of the trees that surrounded the tiny place that Luna called home. She was already up and dressed in a long sleeved dark red dress with her hair tightly tied in a matching ribbon on the top of her head showing her pointed elfish ears clearly. But there was something different about her, the black wings that were on her back were gone and so were her fangs. Damon met her at the table where he was sitting thinking for the remainder of the night. He was wearing the same clothes, but his hair was out of the ponytail and was sweeping across the floor.
"You have beautiful hair you know," Luna said as she brushed Damon's hair back and started to braid it.
"Don’t do that," Damon replied as he got up.
"You used to let me braid your hair."
"It's different now."
"And how so?"
"I want you to show Nicky out of the forest and then go with him."
"What? I want to stay here."
"You can't anymore."
"You mean we, right? You are coming with me, right?"
"No, I'm not. It is time for you to go on with out me to life your life on your own."
"I don't want too. I want to stay here with you."
"You can't Luna. Try to get what I'm about to say to you. If you stay her your life will be wasted, I saved you from death for a reason and it wasn't for you to stay here and become like a housewife."
"But I will be happy here with you. Damon, make me your wife. I know I can make you happy."
"I can't let your throw your life away. I will be happy if you leave."
"I love you Damon."
"You don't know what love is and that why I want you to leave."
"I will come back. You can't stop that."
"I know I can't, but come back after you don't have a reason or want too. I'll still be here."
"But you will be all by yourself."
"One year in the world out there is less than a day here. Remember that."
"I will."
"Good," he said as he kissed her forehead.
"I'll prepare some food while you wake our guest."
"Okay."
Damon went into his bedroom that lay in the back of the house and found Nicky sleeping on the top of the covers. His room wasn't that big and didn't have much in it just his bed, a chest, and an end table. He didn't need that much never did. He walked to where Nicky was sleeping and pushed him gentle.
"Five more minutes mom," the boy said as he turned over.
"I'm not your mom, boy," Damon responded. As Nicky heard him, he woke up and when he saw Damon, he suddenly screamed.
"What happened?" said Luna as she ran in the room to see what the scream was about.
"Nothing, he was just startled," Damon said as he walked out of the room, "He thinks this is a dream."
"Well it's not. Get up and eat so we can leave."
"Yes, ma'am."
Luna gave out a little laugh after being called ma'am. It was the first time someone had called her that even if he was joking.
"There's fruit in the bowl and some bread next to it," she said as she walked across the room to her room, "Now if you excuse me. I need to pack some things."
"What does she mean by pack?" Nicky said as he took a piece of bread.
"We have decided that it would be better for her if you take her back with you," Damon replied as he stared at him, "You don't have to let her stay with you or anything just let her follow until civilization that's all I'm asking."
"My mom won't mind some one else bumming off her. She's very caring. I bet she would love to have someone else to boss around, so will my sister. She maybe seven, but if she doesn't have her way she will make sure you don't have yours."
"You live with your mom and your sister?"
"Them and Timmy, my friend. He's kind of in-between jobs right now so he's crashing with us until he get feet back on the ground. And my older brother's girlfriend is with us too. She's very nice."
"What about your father?"
"That jerk skipped town a couple of months before my sister was born with my drug-addicted aunt."
"Okay, I'm ready," Luna said as she held a small bag in her hand and another was on her back, "Ready to go?"
"Yep," Nicky replied as he picked up an apple, "For later."
"Wait before you go I have something for you Luna," Damon said as he got up from his chair.
"What?" Luna asked.
"Just stay here for a minute."
"Okay."
Damon went into his room and knelt down before the chest that resided in front of his bed. He opened it up and took out four things wrapped in separate cloths. He got up and took the things into the next room. Then laid them on the table.
"What are these things?" Luna asked.
"Some things that belonged to your parents," he replied as he unwrapped one of them and revealed the cursed knife, "This knife was the same one that took the life of both of your parents. Their blood will forever stain its tip," then he unwrapped another one and in it laid a sword with the handed decked in gems and gold, "This was your father's sword," and lastly he unwrapped a small pouch, "In this is your mother's jewelry. It's not much because your mother was just a simple maiden, but it was all she had."
"What about that?" she said as she pointed to the last item that laid still wrapped in a cloth.
"That's something for Nicky for doing us a favor," he replied.
"You don't have to do that. You let me stay in your house for the night and fed me, I'll say that we're even," Nicky responded.
"Just take it."
"What is it?"
"It's the sword of the protector of the princess. I pass it to you. It's made from an elfish metal that's light as a feather, but very strong."
"Wicked," he said as Damon handed the sword wrapped in the cloth to him.
"How is it wicked?" Luna asked in puzzlement.
"It's an expression meaning cool."
"Cool?"
"You have a lot to teach you."
"Okay…"
"Remember what I said," Damon said as he kissed the forehead of Luna.
"That a year in the outside world is less than a day here," Luna replied as soft tears fell from her eyes. The she couldn't hold herself back and she just hugged him, "I love you, Damon."
"I love you too, Luna like a daughter. Take care of her, Nicky."
"I will," he replied, "So are we going to go now?"
"Unpatience I see," Luna said as she stepped out the place she called home but not anymore.
"It runs in my family."
"Good-bye Damon. I'll see you when I don't want to."
"Good-bye, princess," Damon said as he shut the door.
"What was does that mean?" Nicky asked Luna as they started walking away from the house.
"Nothing, you would understand," she replied as she headed the opposite direction that Nicky was walking, "You're going the wrong way. I found you over here."
"Oh, coming."
Nicky ran to Luna who was walking down the path that was full of the dead the night before and going to be again for every night to come. They walked in silent not because Nicky wanted to, but Luna did. She kept quiet until she stopped after a mile of walking.
"I found you here. See, there's my knife," Luna said as she walked to it. She pulled it out and slipped it into the belt on her dress, "Your camp is that way."
"How do you know that?" Nicky replied.
"I can smell your scent over there."
"How can you smell that?"
"I'm part demon and elf. Each has very keen senses. Elves has great hearing and sight, and demons has great smell and taste."
"How about touch?"
"What about it?"
"Is that sense as keen as your others?"
"It's good enough. Come on. We will get your stuff then get out of this forest."
Luna went off the path with Nicky following and as Luna predicated, Nicky's sleeping bag, backpack, and rope was lying on the ground untouched. He quickly gathered his stuff and picked up the rope.
"If we follow this, it will lead us out," Nicky said.
"Smart. That the first time I saw someone coming in here prepared to get out," Luna replied.
"I always come prepared."
"Then how did you get lost in the first place?"
"Well, curiosity killed the cat."
"Let get going."
"Okay."
They followed the rope to the end of the forest and as they were stepping out of the forest, Luna stopped before leaving.
"This is going to be the first time I will leave the forest," Luna said as she looked back.
"Never look back," Nicky replied as he placed his hands on her face and made her look unto his face, "It will be more difficult to leave if you look back, so don't."
"Okay."
"You're like it where we're going. Hey, my friends said they were going to be here when I get out. Oh well. It probably will be an hour walk through the mountain pass."
"Okay."
"Wait, wait. I think I have something in my bag."
He quickly slid his backpack to the ground from his back and went through it. He pulled out a small box device and look very happy.
"Yes, I packed it," he said.
"What is it?" Luna said as she walked up to him.
"An AG-board."
"A what?"
"You're see," he said as he pressed a button on it and threw it on the ground. The box started to transform into a long skateboard without any wheels and it hovered over the ground.
"What kind of magic is that?"
"Not magic, but technology," he said as he jumped on it, "There's only one like this one that can fold up. Come up and we can get going. Oh yeah, hold on tight."
"Okay," she said hesitantly, but she got on it and held tightly to him.
They sped off through the mountain pass on a small dirt path that was made by the feet of many people who walked through the passageway either going or coming and for many different reasons. The AG-board went quickly pass the small mountain pass and when they came out of it they were suppose to see a great city, but instead it was a town crumbly to the ground. Half of it was destroyed and the rest was closed to it. Nicky was startled by the sight he saw and quickly went to it. As he got at the edge of the city of where he once lived, he jumped of the AG-board and looked around.
"What happened here?" Luna asked Nicky as she got off the board.
"I don't know," he replied as he closed the board.
"Stop right there. Who are you and why are you here?" said a man that came from a destroyed building with a gun in his hand.
"Timmy, is that you," Nicky said he realized the man that should in front of him.
"Nicky?" the man replied as he low his gun.
"Yes, it's me, Nicky. What happened here?"
"I'll tell you when I take you home. Your sister been worry about you since you disappeared."
"What about my mother?"
"She's died, but I'll tell you all once I get you home."
"Okay."
"Wait who's that with you?"
"This is Luna, a friend of mine. I will tell you all about later."
"How do you do?" Luna said as she extended her hand.
Timmy shook her hand, "Nice to meet you."
Timmy took them to was once was the house that Nicky lived in, but now the whole top level was completely off and parts of the downstairs was destroyed.
"What happened?" Nicky asked as he walked into the doorway.
"Nicky!" said his little sister as she ran to him and hugged him as tears flowed heavily down her face.
"Sara, it's okay now," he said as he went knelt down and hugged her back.
"I missed you so much. You been gone for so long, where did you go?"
"I'll tell you later okay."
"Okay."
"Sara I want you to meet a friend of mine. This is Luna."
"Hello," Luna said as she held out her hand.
"It's one of them," Sara said in terror, "Why did you bring one of them here, Nicky? Why did you?"
"What do you mean one of them?"
"A demon," Timmy said as he lifted his gun at Luna.
"Put the gun down. She's good. Her and her friend helped me when I was in the forest."
"That when it all began you know."
"What begin?"
"We were waiting for you to come out of the forest the next morning and you didn't came but some one else did, a demon. He killed all of our friends, I was the only one that escaped and when I came back to the town, it was like this. Since that he was spreading like a plague through the world and with it making more demons with him. The world is now in chaos. Many cities are worst than this one."
"I can see it in my dreams," Sara said as more tears ran down her face. Suddenly a blue light started to glow from her, but is was very faded and only someone with some magical power can see it, "Death above death above more death and demons everywhere."
"She's a seer," Luna said as she saw the light from the girl.
"A what?" Nicky asked.
"She has powers to see all. Past, present, and future."
"You got to be kidding me."
"No I'm not and she has great magical powers, but what's her element?"
"Her element?"
"Fire, wind, water, and earth."
"Okay…"
"Tell me where you been Nicky," Sara demanded him to tell her as she pulled on his jacket.
"I was in the forest of time and death. And the strangest thing was that I was only there for the night," Nicky said.
"But you were gone for many months."
"A year here is less than a day there," Luna replied.
"What?" Timmy replied.
"There a reason that the forest called the forest of time and death."
"Never thought of that," Nicky said.
"They coming," Sara said out of no where. Then suddenly an explosion was heard on the East Side of town.
"How many?" Timmy asked.
"50."
"It's demon killing time," he said as ran out of the house with rifle in hand.
"Wait, don't go allow," Sara said but it was too late he was already a block away, "Nicky you must help him or he will die."
"Of course I will," he said, "But how?"
"The sword that Damon gave you," Luna replied.
"But I don't know how to use a sword."
"You don't have to. Let the sword do all the work."
"What do you mean?"
"You'll see."
Nicky took the sword from the cloth that it was in and was amazed how light it actually was. He took it out of the holder and saw the beauty that it was. The blade gleamed brightly in silver and the handed was simple with a craving of a snake that wrapped around it. He placed it back into the holster and strapped it to his belt.
"I'm ready to go," he said.
"I'm coming with you," Luna said. She already placed her sword on her back when she was given it and her two knives were on the back on each of her lower arms.
"Okay."
"Me too," Sara said.
"No, you're staying," Nicky replied.
"Why? I want to help."
"You're too young."
"She's not too young, but not skilled enough. You need to find someone that can train her powers as soon as you can."
"My powers?" Sara asked.
"Everybody has some sort of magic but only some has great powers like you."
"So you're saying that I'm a witch."
"I think you're a seer."
"What's the differences?" Nicky replied.
"A witch has all the element at her dispose, but a seer only has one."
"Okay," Sara replied a little confused and puzzled.
"I will explain it to you later, but now we have something more important to do."
"Fine, I'll be in the basement."
"Good," said Nicky.
"Good luck Nicky," Sara replied as she walked down the stairs, "You're need it."
"Indeed you will," Luna added as she walked out the house, "Are you coming?"
"Yeah," he said as he ran to her and then passed her in the direction where the demons are. When he was getting farther from her, Luna started running with swiftness and grace.
As they got to the battlefield, they could see many dead men and demons lying on the ground while the other demons marched on over them with the men of the city excluding Timmy firing at them. The demon were all low class, ground-walking, earth demons called Wearths. Their leader who rode a demon horse was not one of them. He was a demon, one of the great element demon so his troops followed his every word.
"I love the smell of blood," Luna said as walked up to Timmy.
"You are demon," Timmy said as he got ready to fire.
"I never said I wasn't, did I?"
"You two stop fighting," Nicky said.
"We weren't fighting."
"I agree with her on that," Timmy replied.
"Fine," Nicky said.
"Did you bring a gun Nicky?"
"Nope."
"How are you going to fight then?"
"With a sword."
"You're dead."
"Come on Nicky. We need to get close to fight," Luna said as she drew her sword.
"Okay," he replied as he drew his.
Luna swiftly and quickly ran to the battlefield bringing death with her. With every move she made, she sliced a demon or two in half. It was gracefully like she was doing a dance; in fact it was like she was. The skirt of her dressed strayed with each movement and blow of the wind, and carefully she made sure so get no blood on it.
"I hate to admitted this but she's good," Timmy said as he looked down his rifle.
"Yeah, so don't 'accidentally' shot her," Nicky said, "And don't shot me either."
"Okay."
Nicky went into battle with his sword making his every move, but each one wasn't perfect and it was chopping not fluid like Luna who was way ahead of him making her way to the leader. As she got closer to him, he become familiar to her like she saw him before, but it didn't stop her from jumping up on the horse from behind and placing her sword on his neck.
"Don't moved," she said as she drew the knife from her right hand and placed it against his side.
"This hasn't happened before," the leader said. Luna found familiarity to his voice and then to his smell.
"Damon?" she said, but she knew it wasn't true because this demon hair was a mud brown and skin was very tan.
"I thought that sword look familiar. My brother took it when he took that bitch's child."
"I have your life in my hand, so I won't make me mad."
"You won't dare spill my blood."
"Do you want to try me?" she replied as she pushed the knife closer to his side tearing into his shirt.
"Feisty little one, aren’t you?"
Then he brought out his wings pushing her arms away from him, knocking her of the horse and her weapons from her hands. The demon turned around to see the Luna on the ground. With his power, he lifted her up and brought her close to him so he can see her.
"You're cute," he said, "But I shouldn't be surprise, your mother was beautiful."
"How do you know my mother?" Luna said.
"She was my wife."
Luna's eyes opened up wide and grew wider when he grabbed her, which she followed by a kiss.
"Don't worry. You're my brother's daughter, not mine," he said.
"Let me go," Luna replied.
"Nikolas would be happy if I brought you to him."
"She said let go," Nicky said.
"And who's this?"
"Let her go."
"That Damon's sword isn't it. So he chose you, a scrawny little boy to be her protector. He's losing his eye."
While Damon distracted the demon, Luna took the cursed knife from her arm and stabbed him in the side.
"Bitch," he said as he let go of her to pull the knife out of his side. She fell upon Nicky knocking him down and landing on top of him.
"Sorry," Luna said as she got up.
"Are you okay?" Nicky asked.
"Yeah."
Luna then spotted her sword on the other side of the horse. She slid under the horse, grabbed the sword, got up, and placed the tip on the side of demon's neck.
"Give me back my knife and leave," she said.
"I'll give it back when I'm ready too," the demon said as he placed the knife in his belt. Then he turned his horse around and run away leaving his demons behind to die.
"We have some demon to kill," Luna said as she picked up her other knife and flung it in the skull of approaching demon.
"Okay," Nicky replied as he killed some demons that were coming near him.
Luna sliced demons into half as she walked to the demon she flung her knife into. When she got there, she took it out and then licked the blade.
"That's gross," Nicky said as he saw her.
"Demon's blood doubles your strength," she said as she placed the knife in its holster on her arm and then killed another demon coming to her.
"I will do that the old fashion way of training."
"This is the old fashion way."
"I will never do that."
"Depressed times call for depress measures."
"It's still gross."
"Whatever. I think we got them all."
"Behind you Luna."
The demon just fell down dead, and then Timmy got up from behind where he was shooting.
"Who da man? I'm da man," he said as he flexed his muscles and acted all macho.
"What is he talking about?" Luna asked as she placed her sword back into its holster on her back.
"Nothing," Nicky replied as put his around her shoulder.
"You guys are weird," she replied as she lifted his arm off her.
"Define weird," Timmy said as he walked up to them.
"Dude, I didn't notice this before but you stink," Nicky said as he hold his nose.
"It's the smell of victory my friend."
"I don't smell like that do I?"
"No," Luna replied."
"Good. When we get back, you're taking a shower."
"How can I? We don't have any working plumbing," Timmy replied.
"What! No wonder you stink."
"I think it gives me character."
"No it doesn't."
"Well you get use to it."
"No I won't. I'm going to spray you down with a lot of cologne. Maybe a couple of bottles."
"I don't stink that bad."
"Yes, you do."
M
That night Luna walked up to the roof of the tallest building in the whole city. Most of it was destroyed a section of the roof was left and the stairs leading up to it was still intact. As her feet touched the floor of the roof the moonlight of the full moon shone down on her transforming her to her demon form. Her black wings folded out of her back and stretched out before they just relaxed behind her. She took the ribbon that tried her hair out and let it fly from her hand. Her hair fall down and blow in the light breezed.
Nicky saw her leaving so he decided to follow her to the roof. Luna knew he was behind her the whole time because she could of sense him, but did nothing about it.
"When the moon is full, I become a full demon," Luna said as Nicky walked up behind her.
"So when we met you were a full demon?" Nicky replied.
"Yes. In this form I can use my true powers and my magic is at full. In this form I can kill that demon."
"Are you going to see Damon and ask about him?"
"No. I can't depend on him anymore."
"Then what are you going to do?"
"I'm going after him."
"I'm coming with you."
"I know. I'm bringing your sister."
"What?"
"She can help me and I can help her."
"How can my seven year old sister help you?"
"She has great powers which I or someone can train. She has great potential and I can sense she can be strong."
"Okay. She can come, but if anything happens to her…."
"It's my fault. I know."
