Part 6 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Where am I?" Nicky said as he woke up. The first thing he saw was a girl of sixteen that looked exactly like his little sister except older. Then he looked around the room and found himself back home. "He awoke," the girl yelled to someone outside of the room. Then Jack and Timmy walked into the room. "I'm home?" "Yes. You are." "Who are you?" "Your sister." "My sister! How long have I been out?" "A week or so," Timmy replied. "But why is she like close to my age?" "A spell went wrong," Sara replied as she sat down on the bed, "And now I'm stuck like this until we find a spell to undo it." "Well, it seems you don't mind that much," Jack replied. "Wait, how did I get here? I was at the third tower," Nicky replied as he sat up. "Luna brought you here," Timmy replied, "And then left." "Did she bring Gloria with her?" "Who?" "Gloria. This girl Luna and I were traveling with. She's not here is she?" "Luna only brought back you," Sara replied. "Do you know what happen?" "Yes. I have seen it in my dreams." "Tell me, Sara. What happened?" M "Nicky!" Luna said as she run to his sleeping body on the floor of the third tower. She fell to her knees and left him up into her arms, "What happened to you?" She kissed him on the forehead and laid him back down on the ground. Then got up, "I must do what I set out to do." She walked up to a small tree that grew in the middle of the top floor of the tower. She took the last stone and threw it into a knothole in the tree. Then a white light grew out of the tree and lit the room up. The light then formed together into a beam and went into the sky where it met a blue and red light. The three lights made a barrier around the land that belonged to the demons locking them in. Then the tree started to shiver up and dying. Luna picked up Nicky and ran down the stairs. M "What happened to him?" Jack asked Luna. She just brought Nicky back home just a few minutes ago and now she was standing next to a falling wall of the first story of the house that Nicky once called home talking to Jack who was sitting on the wall. "I don’t know," Luna replied as she looked away. "What do you mean you don't know? You were suppose to be with him." "But I wasn't." "Why weren't you with him?" "He suppose to be my protector. Not the other way around." "Luna answer my question." "Because I couldn't stand to be with her anymore." "Her who?" "Gloria." "What do you mean Gloria? My sister is back?" "She's not my mother," Luna said as she punch down on what was left of a wall in a burst of angry and complete diminished it. "This Gloria is on your bad side isn't she?" "Yes. No. I don't know. She just get on my last nerve some times." "So she's the reason why you weren't with Nicky when he got hurt?" "Yes. We had this big fight and Nicky took her side." "So you left?" "Yes, but I came back and they were gone." "How long were you gone?" "A couple of hours." "Why were you gone for that long?" "I don't want to talk about it." "Okay. Can you tell me how you find him?" "Like that. He was asleep when I found him. After a day, I figure someone put a spell on him." "Do you know how?" "I think Xavier. That's why I'm going in the barrier." "What do you mean? That's dangerous. You know you can't get out of there once you go in because of your demon blood." "But I'm also part elf, so I'm hoping that will get me out." "I don't think so." "Well I can try and if I don't come back, don't let Nicky come after me because he would get stuck too." "What do you mean?" "Once he open his eyes, you would understand." M Luna walked up to a glass like wall that was the barrier between the demon land to the rest of the world and laid her hand on it. "I must go in there," she said to herself. She moved her hand through then her arm and finally she walked in. The sky quickly changed to very sunny to very dark. The ground turned to green to dead. The trees turned from full of life to bare and skinny. She suddenly drew her sword because she didn't felt safe anymore and she had a right too because there were demons watching her. "I know you're there. I can smell you," Luna yelled into the forest. "Why are you here?" a small lizard type demon that were a black ash color and walked with an hunch called a Sweeper, "Elves are not welcome here." "But I'm special," she replied as she flung a knife in the demons throat. She walked over and pulled it out. She ran her finger along the blade wiping the blood off and then she licked her finger, "Um… delirious." She picked up the small Sweeper and started sucking the blood out of him. She then threw the demon behind her. Tons of little hairy demon things crawled out of the shadows and covered the dead demon eating his flesh. "What are you?" said another Sweeper that came out of hiding, but this time he came with his pack. "I am the light and the darkness," she said as she wiped off the dripping blood from her mouth, "I am the good and the evil." "What do you want here?" "I'm looking for Xavier. Show me where he is or I would do to you what I did to your friend." "He was only one, but we are many." "Die if you wish." Luna ran towards the demon and thrust the sword into his stomach. She pulled it out and then sliced four demons that were to the right of her in half. In the matter of minutes all of the Sweepers were dead except for one. "Tell me where Xavier is," she said as the tip of her sword pierced the neck of the demon. "Watching your every move," Xavier said as he walked up behind her. "Take the spell of Nicky," Luna said as she swung around and place the sword against Xavier's neck. "If you'll come with me." "Where?" "To see your father." "If only you take the spell off of Nicky first." "As you wish." Xavier took out the black string and untied it. "Now come with me," Xavier said as he held out his hand. M "I'm going after her," Nicky said as he sat on his bed. It had been a day since he woken up and he was feeling completely fine. "I wouldn't suggest that," Jack said as he walked forward from the wall he was leaning against. "Why?" "Have you looked out yourself in the mirror lately?" "Um, no. I don't really look at myself in the mirror." "Well you should." "Why?" Nicky replied as got up and walked to the dresser that belonged to his sister. He picked up the small handhold mirror and looked in it. He saw something he didn't expected. In his mouth were two small fangs, his brown eyes were turning golden and like cat eyes, his ears were sharpening at the top, and his lightly tan skin was turning pale. "What is happening to me?" Nicky said as he dropped the mirror. "You're turning into a demon," Jack replied. "What? Why?" "I believe that history likes to repeat itself." "What do you mean by that?"
