Activities & Events

a) Drinking Water Project (1992-1997)

- Launched at Jhaukhel village of Bhaktapur

- 18 public taps were installed

- Drinking water facility for 200 houses

- Conducted under the help of WSB Asia Pacific Region

b) Environmental Sanitation and Private Latrine Construction (1987-1997)

- Launched at Tathali & Challing villages of Bhaktapur

- 350 private latrines were constructed

- In a joint venture with District Public Health Office and UNICEF (BCP) Bhaktapur

c) Community Immunization (1987)

- Collected data of children for immunization in different parts of Bhaktapur

- Created awareness on need of immunization

- Volunteered in the time of immunization

d) Adult Literacy Class (2000)

- Two classes of literacy in Chitapol & Tathali

- 40 adults are in the process of literisation

- Helped by District Education Office

e) Salt + Sugar + Water Program (1988)

- Publicity, demonstration & training of preparing Jeevanjal for dehydration due to diarrhea in different villages

f) AForestation (1988)

- Plantation of 3000 Sapling at Telkot, Bhaktapur

- jointly conducted by Phinish scouts and Nepal scouts

g) Tailoring Training Project (1985-1990)

- Basic training imparted to 300 scouts and general public on sewing

- Assisted by Danish scouts

h) Kitchen Garden Project (1978)

- Distribution of seeds to scout troops

- Enabled scout troops to keep  kitchen garden in respective schools

i) Mentally Retarded School Project (1985-......)  (( postponed now due to lack of finance))

- Operation of Mentally Retarded School

- Service to 32 mentally retarded children

- Home visit

- Assisted by Danish Scouts( Now Postponed due to lack of Finance)

j) Tree Plantation project with the Japanese Rover(PaxIV Hyper Group)
