Raise the Titanic! is about a salvage operation to recover a rare mineral that the U.S wants for its missle defense system. The ship that the mineral is on is the Titanic. Now Dirk Pitt must raise the Titanic before the Russians get to it first. (This summary may be partally wrong.)
