LATIN AMERICAN WORKSHOP IN 2008
A major initiative of the LAA-SC is the organization of a Regional Latin American Medical Physics workshop, in conjunction with AAPM’s 50th anniversary in Houston, similar to the one in Chicago 2000. An organizing team for this project was formed to work on the various programmatic, logistical and financial aspects of the workshop. The team will also continue to work with the other LA partners/sponsors.
The Workshop will be help in Houston, TX, from Wednesday to Friday (July 23-25, 2008), the week before the Annual AAPM meeting. Details will be posted over the coming months.
