And the conclusion- Part Three of Harry/Lucius I think I'm going to call it "Welcome Home, Harry." Yeah. It's PG-13. Sorry bout that. I know I could've extended the ending, but to put a smut scene in there would've just made it seem damned cheesy. I'll try this pairing again in the future and be sure to put in lots of sex for all you fiends. For npetrenko . He was still naked, the room around him was nice, but unfamiliar, and he thought he was still at Hogwarts. Closer inspection took in the colors, which would indicate Slytherin. The last thing he realized was that his head hurt. A lot. "Having fun, Potter?" Draco. Harry sat up, pulling the blankets to cover himself. "Malfoy. What do you want?" Draco raised an eyebrow. "You out of my father's life." "Jealous?" Harry challenged, though he wasn't feeling nearly as brave as he sounded. Malfoy had a wand, and he himself was completely defenseless. "Not at all. I just don't think you're very good for him," Draco said in an amused tone. "You don't have a say in it," Harry shot back. "We're getting married whether you approve or not." "Do you think it's a good thing, Potter, for my father to be seen with someone like you? A half-blood? A gold digger? I saw you two at the lake. How did you manage to make him fall for you so quickly, hm? A spell, no doubt. I bet you got your little mudblood friend to help you." Harry's fists clenched at the insult. "Does it bother you that much that your father likes me more than you?" Draco's eyes narrowed. "My father does not like you more than me, Potter." "Oh yeah? Well the hickeys on my neck and the Skyfire in my locker say differently." Harry couldn't keep the smirk off his face. Draco raised his wand, about to hex Harry, but another voice said, "Expelliarmus!" and the wand flew back, out of his hand. Harry looked past him. Lucius. "Father! I was just-" "Draco, I do not think you are in a position to speak at this point." Lucius did not glare at his son, but the look was unmistakable. He was not happy. "Also, when you take some captive, I believe it would be a mistake to brag to everyone within hearing distance. Severus overheard you talking to your housemates and contacted me immediately. I was in the middle of a rather important business meeting, but I suppose that your childish pranks could not have been put off, could they've?" Draco looked down at his feet, embarrassed. "He's trying to get into your pocket, sir," he protested. "He doesn't care-" "That's not true!" Harry shouted, angry. "I love him!" He immediately covered his mouth with a hand. He hadn't meant for that to slip out. Not yet. He blushed, realizing that both Malfoys were looking at him. "Get dressed, Harry," Lucius said, pulling clothing from Draco's wardrobe and handing them to him. "I'll return shortly. After I've finished dealing with my son." Harry saw Draco's face flush, then go pale, and they left. He dressed quickly in the rich clothing, wondering idly where his robes were. Probably back in the locker room, he reasoned. In the half hour it took for Lucius to 'deal' with Draco, he went over what he'd said in his mind, and wondered how Lucius would react. He was just getting ready to leave when Lucius returned, looking slightly ruffled. "Well. Merry Christmas," he said. Harry smiled weakly. "Merry Christmas. I'm really sorry-" Lucius put up a hand, silencing him. "Do not take responsibility for the actions of my son. His beliefs were unfounded, and his actions unforgivable. His pride is wounded at my choice of spouse, but that most definitely is not your fault." He extended his hand, and Harry took it. "Shall we see about dinner, then?" Harry nodded, relieved that Lucius wasn't angry with him. He pulled on one of Draco's coats, and followed Lucius out of the castle, down to Hogsmeade. Once seated in a modest restaurant, he tentatively asked, "What's going to happen to Draco?" Lucius looked over the menu, silent for the moment. "He'll finish the rest of the term at Durmstrang, where I should have sent him to begin with. Then he'll continue his education in a wizarding university in Australia. After that," he said, "whatever he wants to, I suppose." Harry looked down at his own menu, unopened. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause so much trouble." "I highly doubt you asked my son to kidnap you and hold you at wandpoint." Blushing, Harry picked up the menu, hiding his face behind it. They ordered, then ate in a comfortable silence. During dessert, Harry finally had built up the nerve to ask the question he'd been wanting to ask since he'd first see Lucius. "The wedding, then..." Lucius surveyed him over a bite of cheesecake. "Is set for the thirtieth of June. Is that not acceptable?" "No, no, it's fine," Harry said, fears alleviated. He grinned. Just a few more months, then. ***** "Stop fussing, mate. You look fine." Harry looked himself over in the mirror again for the umpteenth time, trying to flatten his hair. It wasn't working very well, and Ron was telling him he looked fine. "It's useless!" Ron grinned, appearing behind him in the mirror. "It's not like Malfoy doesn't know it's useless. You've been with the man how long now?" "I guess so." He turned, straightening his robes. "How do I look?" "Fine! I told you that already." Ron's expression grew serious. "Harry, listen, if he gives you any trouble, any at all, you know you can come to the Burrow, right? Mum's always got her door open for you." Harry smiled, then pulled Ron into a hug. "Thank you." "Yeah, yeah. Just don't let me hear he's been treating you badly. I'll have to hex the bastard." Laughing, Harry stepped back, the queasy feeling in his stomach mutiplying tenfold. To make matters worse, Hermione popped her head in. "They're ready to start," she said, grinning. "You look great, Harry." "Good luck," Ron said, clapping him on the shoulder. ***** "The ceremony lasted too long." Lucius raised an eyebrow, but said nothing, leading Harry through the garden, away from their friends, family, and general well-wishers. The manor was only a few yards away, and they were hoping to sneak away unnoticed. "And the reception was boring." Still nothing. They reached the servants' entrance in the back, moving through the kitchens. Lucius took Harry's hand, guiding him through the still unfamiliar passages. They reached the parlor. "And that one bloke kept eyeing you up. The guy from the Ministry." Lucius chuckled, waving his wand to drop the wards. "Pardon me if I don't carry you across the threshold." Harry pouted. "Now that's not fair. You're so unroman-" The words died on his lips when he saw the bedroom. He'd always thought rose petals and candles would be sappy, but the sight before him took his breath away. "You were saying?" Lucius purred, wrapping his arms around Harry's waist. "You're very romantic," Harry corrected himself, turning to face to Lucius. He leaned up, kissing him gently. "Thank you," he whispered. "Thank you for taking care of me." Lucius smiled. "Welcome home, Harry." FIN padababy1@aol.com
