Pape Family 2007

It has been a busy year for the Pape family. We had kids learn to walk, ride bikes, ice skate and swim.  There were also no shortages of vacations and fun with friends and family this year.    For those of you who we saw this year, we had lots of fun; and for those of you we, missed hopefully we will see you in the coming year.

Drew has grown leaps and bounds this year.  At this rate the boy will be tall enough to star in the NBA by his freshman year in high school.  Along with all this growing comes his constant need for food and movement; Drew does not sit still.  Drew learned to walk on January 20th of 2007 and learned to run January 21st of 2007.  This summer Drew enjoyed drowning at the local pool, he does not understand the concepts that if the water is over his head he can not swim.  He also tried really hard to ride his tricycle all summer.  Drew ended 2007 with a bang and broke his collar bone last week and will be bandaged for the next six weeks.

Will has spent the better part of 2007 finding ways to annoy his little brother.  When he is not annoying Drew he learned to ice skate, ride a two-wheeler and swim all on his own.  Will loves going to pre-school two days a week and can not wait till the day he gets to take the bus to school.  Will loved his first trip to Disney World this year and enjoyed playing on the beach in NY for the week with his cousins.

Nick and I are too tired to do much these days, as we would love a few days of sleep.  Nick received a promotion at work this past month that is keeping him really busy.  I spend most of my days keeping the boys in line and volunteering to help at preschool and St. Jerome’s where I use to teach.

May you have a happy and healthy 2008.  Below are a few moments of the Pape’s in 2007.
