| This is what the engine bay looks like with the air resonator box in place. |
| Cut the resonator off from where it joins the main air filter pipe. By leaving a bit of pipe protruding on the air filter pipe, it will help when you come to seal it with silicon. File the cut edge smooth to enable a nice clean tight fit. |
| I blocked mine off using the lid from a red spray paint can. Silicon around the top of the cut pipe, and the edge of the spray can lid. Push the lid over the pipe ensuring the silicon seals all the way round. Some lids have a small hole in them, check for this and block with silicon if required. |
| To help make things look a little better under the bonnet, i sprayed the paint can lid black. |
| When dry simply replace the pipe minus the resonator box. |
